The location of the hotel was VERY convenient to the historical ttractions. Some were only 40 minutes away. Staff went over and above to help you. The roof top restaurant/bar was a wow factor. Food was tasty, but I feel my travels through out Sicily and Italy it could have been better.

The staff was very kind and helpful! I lost a bracelet in my bathroom sink and they were able to help me retrieve it. The street outside was very loud but it was quiet in the hotel! Great stay

Better than expected.

The reciews for this place are not fair. Its really nice. You have paid parking right behind the hotel. Minute walk away. The rooms are really nice and clean. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace. Really all that you would want.

Do not come here! The hotel staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good too. The location is very good too. Steps from the main street in Palermo. Other than that, I would not stay here again. We got a 3 people room but the room had no natural light at all. Despite the two windows, it was all dark. It looked like a cave and it smelled like a closed space. The bathroom size was decent but it did not offered any toiletries. Everything looked cheap and at a level below basic. Overall the furniture and the decoration was dated and with lack of care. The room had a TV that never worked because there was no internet. I wanted to change the room but there was not another room available for 3 people. We stayed for one night only, thanks God, otherwise I would have gone somewhere else for the extra nights.

Excellent Location

The location is excellent- walking distance to most attractions. We could not get a second room key. On the first day, the shower overflowed into the bedroom-fortunately I saved my bag and shoes in time. The issue was fixed when we got back. The towels were threadbare with a handkerchief sized hand towel. No tissues and no body lotion so be prepared. The front desk staff were pleasant - note the furniture in the reception area is way more worn than the photos suggest. The rooms are spacious with a good view from the 5th floor breakfast area.

Everything started well, the front desk was very friendly and helpful. I’ve had 2 issues - the room smelled like sewage. It’s a common problem in the old part of the city, but the smell here was overwhelming at times. Second issue - I assume it was a security? I was coming back during the day time (before 5 pm), was on the phone with a friend and the moment I opened the hotel door I got called back by stuff member who looked like security and was smoking outside and asked whether I’m staying in this hotel or not. It made me feel so uncomfortable, I’ve never experienced anything like that at any hotel I stayed in. I look totally normal, just a solo woman in my 30s, do I look threatening? Am I not allowed to be on the phone when entering the hotel? I do not feel like staying at this hotel next time I’m in Palermo, despite location being hard to beat.

Amazing place to stay. Very friendly staff. Clean and cozy rooms. Loved the atmosphere of the area. At night it’s absolutely breathtaking. It’s very walkable to restaurants, shops, or the bus and train station.
