Great location. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast included. Our suite was modern, clean and spacious. Easy walking distance to the historic part of town with attractions, dining and shopping. Parking provided for a fee. Excellent choice for a couple of days in Palermo.

On the plus side, the staff were very kind and attentive and the breakfasts were enormous, with platters full of freshly chopped fruit, pastries, cooked meats and hard-boiled eggs. On the minus side the room we were allocated was much smaller than that shown on your website.

This property is wonderful with so much loving attention to detail and decor! The staff could not have been better and even gave us an extra room for no additional charge in order to give our foursome more space! The breakfast was unbelievable! Platter after platter of meats, cheeses, fruits, pastries, stuffed breads, cannoli, and fruit! We really loved our stay here, and do not hesitate recommending it. Again, the staff and owner were so nice!

This is a hidden gem in a gritty neighborhood, very convenient to walk to all the interesting Palermo sights and experiences. I would definitely recommend. A super friendly staff and a very good breakfast too!

Porta de Castro was a wonderful stay. The only thing is if you want quiet, the street it is located on is busy and quite a bit of honking. Didn’t bother me, popped in some ear buds at night. The breakfast and staff were amazing!!! I felt very welcomed and the staff helped me with any questions, plus lots of suggestions on what to do in the areas. Very convenient to walk to almost any place, including the train station.
