I'm not one to usually write a review but felt I needed to this time around. The best thing about this hotel was the front desk staff who went out of their way to help us with our room! Seriously, they were great! But the rooms...the first room, the fridge smelled & had bugs flying around, the 2nd room was extremely musty smelling - the 3rd room was ok until we started looking around. There were drawings on the ceiling & walls like the room was under construction, then we looked at the a/c unit which was filled with dust & dirt - we asked them to clean it but their clean & my clean are not the same - looked like they just wiped it down. There was also a nip bottle on the floor. The toilet broke & we had to call maintenance, it apparently was not getting water - they fixed it, showed my son what they did & then we proceeded to "fix" it 3 more times before we left. The light fixtures were rusty. I couldn't tell if it was rust or mold on the shower head - it wasn't pretty. The carpets in the hallways & rooms were dirty looking. The breakfast they offered, didn't offer much the times we went. Overall we managed only because we weren't in the room much, but unless they do a full renovation, we will not stay here again. I'm certainly not a "hotel snob" but there are definitely nicer hotels for not much more $.
