I recently stayed at the Amerit Resort and Spa to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and had a mixed experience. The hotel itself is beautiful and well-maintained, and the staff at the front desk and valet were exceptionally kind, helpful, and professional. Their warm service made a strong positive impression.
However, the experience at the spa was disappointing. The spa attendants displayed a cold and dismissive attitude, which made us feel uncomfortable during what was supposed to be a relaxing and celebratory visit. Despite the high cost, the treatments did not meet our expectations in terms of quality or service. There was also little guidance from staff—we were left to figure things out on our own, which detracted from the experience.
Given that we chose this resort specifically to create a special birthday memory, it was unfortunate that the spa component—something we were most looking forward to—fell short. While I appreciated many aspects of the resort, I would hesitate to recommend the spa until improvements are made in guest care and service consistency.
