Overall the room was clean and spacious. The woman working the front desk was very rude and unprofessional. Road noise is very noticeable and loud as you are right next to I-95

If you value a welcoming and friendly staff, you may want to consider staying somewhere else. There are so many negatives about this property. It's in a great location, but so are other options in the area. It's the kind of staff that you look at with a smile, and they look right back at you with a straight rude look on their face. I personally felt uncomfortable and unwelcomed. This property seems to be controlled in several ways, they appear to be very stingy. When I walked in the room, it was warm and smelled like mold. Usually when you walk into a hotel room, the room is cool and doesn't smell musty. Even the breakfast is controlled. The black lady working the breakfast area, gave me one small piece of bacon, and when I asked for another piece she was literally picking around the crumbs with the tongs and gave me the smallest bacon crumb possible, it was laughable and ridiculous. I've never seen anything like this. I understand that people could be wasteful, and maybe they're trying to avoid that, but this was insane. The shower had no water pressure, the towels look dirty (old and greyish) and there was water coming in through the bedroom window after the rain. The security guard was creepy and you just get the feeling that someone is always watching you, it's just weird. The unfriendly staff, and watching someone dig through the breakfast and giving me two crumbs of bacon made the biggest impact. Tip: A simple smile can make a big difference.

I really like the hotel very nice high comfortable beds, It’s almost like a two room apartment, nice and big. Full size refrigerators, table, microwave and dishes. And best of all, ITS CLEAN!! And close to everything. Very walkable, which I love. Nice pond in the front.

2nd Stay
Another great stay at the Hawthorn Suites in West Palm Beach. Breakfast was goid as always. My room was cleaned everyday. The property inside and out is clean. Front desk people were friendly and helpful. I had a problem with no hot water one day, when i came back from breakfast, the problem was fixed. This was my second stay and it was great.

This is my second time staying my first stay was great and I was on the second floor then king suite this time it was a double on 3rd floor room 301 the toilet ran all the time the chairs were stain and when I first got in room it was a cup of water in fridge walls in bathroom were stain and it was food stains on little kitchen walls behind sink. They treated my husband like he was a homeless person when he tried to get breakfast they asked him whats your room number embarrassed him in front of everyone he felt so bad the rest of our stay he skipped breakfast and so did I . I let management know and they said they would handle the guy that did that. The icemaker did not work either in the room. Not a good experience want stay again
