Tons of construction, one elevator working, no pool open at property, have to walk to a secondary pool near beach. All of which should have been disclosed prior to booking. No restaurant open. No bar open.

The Seagate is perfectly located on Atlantic Avenue close to shopping and restaurants. The staff were very friendly, attentive and accommodating. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The exclusive beach club with shuttle transportation was fantastic. I will definitely return.

This was an evacuation trip from Milton. The Seagate filled a need successfully for us for a couple nights. The hotel is under complete renovation and its also off season therefore the rates were reasonable. Generally this is a schwanky resort destination which I would never spend themoney they ask for these rooms. The STAFF was execllent

The Seagate is a wonderful hotel. The rooms are large and very well appointed. The issue right now is the renovation. Significant portions of the facility are closed. Hammering and other construction noises begin early. I don't think this was well or accurately disclosed to me before I booked.

I visit Delray often & have always thought it would be nice to stay at Seagate, so my husband & I did. I would have loved to go down & visit the bar & hotel restaurant, but it was all under renovation. One night it rained so hard, we did not want to go walking or driving out, it would have been great to go down to the bar at hotel. I wish I had known this renovations & so much was closed. That is my only complaint, everyone was amazing, staff superb, rooms were nice & clean. Maybe I can try again next year.

The property is very nice but is undergoing a major renovation until December 2024.They said it was the lobby, pool and restaurant's but it is the rooms as well. They said the Spa Pool would be ready by Sep 25 and when we arrived Oct 2 we discovered it was not. We were not notified prior to arrival so that was very disappointing as we wanted to use it the day we checked in. The front desk gave us an upgrade to a renovated room which was very nice with a outside patio. However, the water came out of the tub and sink with a greenish color. the front desk said that is the color of the water in Del Ray Beach. I have been there many times and never saw the water that color before. They brought extra bottles of water to my room and apologized for the inconvenience. The other issue is that when we came back to our room about 3:30PM because it was raining, we can hear drilling and banging from the renovations going on at the hotel. Because all facilities were closed at the main hotel we had to use the shuttle to the Beach club. The shuttle was efficient and convenient. The Beach club is very nice and was fully staffed and had poolside food and drink service. There is only valet parking at the Hotel, it was very easy to get your car using the texting system they set up.

We have stayed at the Seagate 4 of the last 5 years. We have stayed as many as 10 days. On the last 2 trips we brought other couples with us. They stayed at the Seagate based on our high recommendation. We went this year and were deeply disappointed in the property’s condition. It was under an extensive renovation that was not only loud but was filthy. Workers footprints and dust was everywhere in the facility. We were woken each morning to power drills vibrating the walls & ceilings of our room and the hallway. There was no lobby or Beach Club dining facility. The staff repeatedly complained about being short staffed. That almost everyone was laid off and all were overworked. The only shining star was their onsite restaurant. Best food and service we have ever had at the Seagate. We were planning an April 2025 trip and were bringing our daughter and her family. I know that the renovations are supposed to be completed by then but the last trip so miserable, we may be moving on.
