Very nice stay! We made reservations many months in advance because I thought the high season began in December. I was a little disappointed after I got home and did some research that the prices now are a lot lower than when I made the reservation back in the spring.

2nd Timer - Not Disappointed!!
My check-in was a breeze.... the front desk gentleman that took care of me was very nice, quick and accommodating due to me having a gig to get to quick...! Thank you sir for that and the glass of sparkling wine that was much needed... This was my second time staying at Del Marcos Hotel and just so happened I got the same suite as the first time. My first reaction was a little bummed about it because the room last time just didn't seem very clean and where the room is it's kind of set back underneath a staircase which was a little annoying. This time the room was very clean and fresh feeling. Maybe it's in the air? Also the patio last time kind of also felt a bit under cleaned for my liking when your paying a good amount for a room anywhere. This time the patio area was clean, lounge bed area was very clean with seemed like new comfy pillows. Fireplace worked this time and bathtub was clean and ready for use. All and all even for one night, you guys are doing it right! Hope to see you all again soon Cheers

An absolute perfect Stay! loved the no kids hotel perfect for a quiet getaway. The restaurant and barn next-door were perfect and beautiful delicious and the staff was very kind. I scored the room with the outdoor bathtub and it was perfect perfection

Hello, I am not one to write bad reviews but I was quite upset that when I came to check in, no one was at the lobby, we waited and looked for about 30 min until we ran into one of the housekeeping employees and ask. No one told us we had to check in next door if no one was available, that was the upsetting part the no communication. Made us late for dinner reservations as well. Not staying here again.

Pool was nice. No hot tub. Room was dated and needed upgrading ie sink wobbled as had been separated from wall. Bathroom was tiny. Had to angle and close door to use toilet. Light from pool could not be blocked out. Road noise also problem. Will not stay here again.

Hotel is in a great, walkable location and photographs very well, apparently. Unfortunately, the hotel is tired and worn down. Our room had drywall missing in the bathroom. The majority of the outlets didn't work. Incredibly uncomfortable bed with flat pillows. The pool area was great, but only 1 of 2 fire pits worked. We would have moved hotels if we hadn't been traveling with a group.

This property is so pretty and it's sad that it is being allowed to run down. There was no staff on site until Sunday when people were checking out or in. Two bottles of water in the room with no back up water anywhere. Rooms cute but falling apart. The remote for the TV did not work. The cooler/heater unit was also not working. Poolside fire pits also not working and we went to La Sirena (next door where all the staff is) and they were very nice and helpful with all of the above but some things could not be fixed. It was like paying $500 for a cute space (the pool is amazing) with nothing working properly.

Arrived at 4:30 pm and the lobby was not staffed but it said open until 7:00 pm. We were directed by a sign to the sister hotel next door, La Serena Villas, for check in and code access into our hotel. King Suite was large but the bathroom was small and room had an old stale smell. Patio needed TLC and the fire pit did not work. Overall, not what we expected and the hotel, without any staff or services (all next door as previously mentioned), felt lonely and abandoned. There was a free self serve breakfast which was ok. We only stayed one night then switched hotels.

The rooms were okay. The holder for the toilet paper was all rusted out. Caulking around the sink was an inch wide and applied all over. Loved the bigger fridge, sink, wood shutters on all windows. Breakfast is minimal but decent. The coffee tea bags in the room are poor. Great location, quiet and close to the strip.
