Everything was fine except at the end. When I was signing for the room when we checked in, we saw an up charge. They explained it away saying that its just a hold that will fall off once you check out. We checked out and waited but still had an extra $50 fee that we couldn't understand. Called the hotel and they said “we charge for parking”. No where does it say that we would be charged for parking. Just sneaky and unprofessional after such a great stay.

Love this place

Got this place because our plans changed at the last minute and BOY! did we luck out! This place is great! Love the history and tributes to Lucille Ball and Dezi Arnez all over the place. The staff is friendly, the grounds are lovely, the pool area is super cool, the lounge is great with live performances. Love our quick layover here and will definitely be back for a longer stay!

I can’t say enough good things about the Indian Wells Resort Hotel! Every time I visit Palm Springs, this is my go-to spot. The staff are welcoming, the rooms are comfortable and spotless, and the overall vibe is relaxing and luxurious. The amenities, from the pool to the lobby, make every stay feel special. I always look forward to coming back!

I rarely write reviews. I will take my time and do it this time to save anyone from such a bad experience. Please read before reserving. The facility is old and outdated. Lacking basic stuff. No shower gel, just one soap for showing that dissolves immediately for shower and handwashing. Service was weak, front desk personnel was very rude and good for nothing. There was loud noises in front of our room at 5 am, called the reception although our room was on the first floor and very easy reach from the lobby, that did not come. Commotion kept on called once again and asked for their help. The answer was “why are calling again we said we are coming and hang up” On our departure, what they have charged, the bill and what I needed to pay was 3 different numbers and I needed clarification. The answer “you must have been very excited while you were checking in did not you read the fine print? I have never seen such an unacceptable treatment in my life at an hotel before. For some reason, our organizer picked this hotel for our group, honestly would not be my choice. We now know that there are so many beautiful hotels around and same price during Coachella. NEVER AGAIN! My suggestion would be avoid at any cost!

Desert Stay

My stay was quiet and enjoyable. The housekeeping staff was excellent. The bed seemed to be a little lumpy but O.K. I didn't get around to asking the front staff why one of the hand towels had a green spot on it on the first day. The replacements did not. Other members of my party had the same experience with the towels. It must be some kind of counting mark or something? Other than that, it felt like a secure place to spend a restful night. No frills, but clean and peaceful.
