This property is great for families and children! Our son (2) had the best time. The pool and splash pad were a hit. The staff was super friendly. That being said, I probably wouldn’t come with just my husband though. There aren’t a lot of dinner dining options at the hotel and it is an older property but, again, amazing option for families with kids!

We spent Mother’s Day at the Omni Rancho Mirage Resort, and it was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome everyone was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and attentive. The resort is a total paradise for families especially if you have little ones in tow. There were so many fun things for the kids to do, from splashing in the kid-friendly pools & slides to enjoying outdoor games and activities. They were entertained the whole time, which meant Mom got to relax and enjoy her special day. Win-win! The grounds are beautiful, the food was delicious, and the overall vibe was pure joy. It’s rare to find a place that blends comfort and family fun so perfectly, but the Omni Rancho Mirage nailed it. Already looking forward to making this our new Mother’s Day tradition! Highly recommend for families looking to celebrate, unwind, and make special memories together!

The grounds were breath-taking and my family loved the lazy river. The room was very large and comfortable but dated. Cafe on site was good for snacks and coffee. Had complimentary birthday dessert in room for my daughter which hotel left-very nice. Pools were very clean.

We stayed at the Omni last weekend (wanted to escape the gloomy LA weather) and it was a perfect for a one-night getaway. Check-in was quick and easy, room was neat and tidy, there was plenty of parking right in front of our room, and the Splashtopia area was a few steps away. When I called the front desk for extra bottles of water and bath towels, they brought it to the room very quickly. The kids really enjoyed the pool, lazy river, and slides, and we enjoyed relaxing on the lounge chairs with our drinks. Saturday night (8 pm) they set up a movie by the pool, which was awesome. Service at the pool was great (drinks, food, towels). Two things I would change/suggest: 1. The Lazy River/slides close at 6 pm. That is really early considering check-in is at 4 pm. Consider moving it to 7 pm since sunset is at 7:30-8 pm this time of year. 2. The pressure in our shower was very very strong - like to the point my kids were complaining that it hurts. Meanwhile, our friends who went with us reported that they barely had any pressure. Overally, we had a great time and would recommend!

The view of golf course from the back patio is wonderful. If you have kids Splashtopia's lazy river and beach access pool is top notch and the reason we chose this resort. However we found it to be very expensive for the quality we saw, and felt deceived into upgrading in order to have connecting rooms which we were not told about upon reserving.
