The property was nice and quiet during our stay. The adult pool was getting work done so we had to use the other one. There weren't many people at the pool so it was easy to move around to get shady chairs. All the staff were friendly and quick to help. The shower in the bathroom let out a lot of water. The room needed a little more up keep like painting scratched up areas, cleaning the walls, the tiles in the bathroom looked like they needed to be steam cleaned. The faucet for the shower also needed some extra elbow grease cleaning. The mini fridge didn't keep things cold. The room was very large. The TV's was a smart tv so you could log into your apps and watch whatever you want. They had a restaurant on site for pool snacks and drinks which made it convenient.

Disappointed by Lack of Communication – A Mixed Experience My boyfriend and I were looking forward to a relaxing getaway at what has long been his favorite hotel in Palm Springs. We specifically booked this stay with the expectation that the adults-only Elixir pool would be open, as it's a big part of what makes the property special for us. Unfortunately, the hotel failed to communicate that the Elixir pool would be closed during our stay. When we raised the issue with the front desk, we were met with little empathy. They stated that the family pool was effectively like the 21+ pool, and therefore no refund, compensation, or even a gesture of goodwill would be offered. They referred us to hotel management and mentioned that the pool was closed for remodeling due to the “off-season”—a surprising claim considering our visit was in early June, which is not typically off-season for Palm Springs. This lack of transparency and unwillingness to accommodate left a sour note on what should have been a good start to our trip. My boyfriend's initial excitement quickly turned into disappointment. That said, there were still bright spots. Our room was beautiful, and the bartender at GiGi's truly went above and beyond. He was attentive and made us feel seen during an otherwise frustrating experience. At the end of the night, he even offered us a nightcap on the house as a kind gesture to make up for the hotel’s shortcomings. It is left to be seen whether we return to V Palm Springs.

I enjoy staying at this hotel because the price is always good. It’s in a great area. That’s not too far from downtown. I used to love going to that party pool, but I’m over that. I’m glad they have the other pool on the other side where I can just relax. I don’t expect too much from the rooms as I’m just there to be at the pool sleep and shower. So it provides what is needed for the reason I am there.

I was the only one at the property and they put me in the back room 216 why not upfront by the pool instead of behind the wall of the bar. When we were out of power on friday no one notified me of what was going on.

We travel to Palm Springs every year for my son's basketball tournament, and this was by far the worst hotel experience we've had. I booked a superior room with two queen beds through Expedia but was placed in Room 318, which turned out to be smaller than the standard rooms my fellow basketball moms booked—and they paid less. When I raised the issue, staff claimed no other queen rooms were available and seemed indifferent to our concerns. No adjustments or accommodations were offered. To make things worse, our room shared a patio with Room 317, which we weren’t told in advance. With two small children in our group, we were uncomfortable having three adults from the neighboring room constantly on the shared patio. It raised serious safety and privacy concerns. The manager never spoke to us directly—despite multiple requests—and instead sent messages through front desk staff. We were only offered two drink vouchers, and our request for a partial refund was denied. Between the room downgrade, lack of transparency, and poor customer service, this hotel completely missed the mark. We won’t be returning and will be advising other basketball teams to stay elsewhere.
