Check in is at 3pm & the not very friendly staff at the front desk made sure we waited until 3:01 to check in- even though they billed our credit card for the room 3 hours earlier. When you do check in there is also an additional incidental hold on your card. The rooms are small & awkwardly set up with a childs full sized matress. The adjacent restaurant is ridiculously over priced as well.

Overall I enjoy The V, as I’ve stayed several times. This time was the first room I got in a farther back building, which also was next to the housekeeping area. Constant carts wheeling by and knocks on the shared room happened, taking away from the usually quiet atmosphere. Also, after a week since staying the hotel still has the $200 hold in my account which is more of an annoyance than anything else.

It was an easy check in. I was able to dine at Gigi’s restaurant on site twice. The food was good and the bartenders are super sweet. I didn’t get to experience the hot tub or pool as it was always occupied. But it looked lovely. Depending on which way your room is facing mature I’ll say that.

Terrible mattresses couldn't sleep
The only thing you truly need in a hotel room is a comfortable bed to sleep in. The mattresses in this hotel are the worst ever both times we stayed we couldn't sleep, we thought they would have replaced them by now as we had stayed back in 2021.

The room upstairs was very loud, and the room itself was very cold, at some point i felt like i was being watched, i couldnt sleep right because of the banging coming from the upstairs, the floor was cold and the bathroom was a whole other story, im pretty sure the room i was in is haunted, as i said previously it felt like i wasnt the only one in the room, the receptionist was very nice though and the pool are was nice too
