Everything was an amazing experience. If you book with Exedpia you get a person who you can reserve your dinner reservations and ask them questions 24/7 very helpful. I would recommend this hotel. And they have a car rental within the hotel

This resort could be an absolute gem! The staff has my greatest appreciation for their tireless efforts. They work really hard and I’m sure they’re underpaid. The ocean views is simply outstanding. Keep in mind this is a no swim beach, otherwise enjoy the sights and sounds of the beautiful ocean. The buffet food was okay. Don’t come expecting a dazzling buffet, it’s accommodating! The other restaurants offer a bit better variety. The pools were crystal clear, however the outside showers, there are 4 of them and only 1 functioned. Activities honestly they are lacking. A lot of that may have been a language barrier but a professional planner is very much needed to get the people active and involved. There can be no bad day in this area whatsoever! My oh no moment can when our phone in the room didn’t work. So scheduling anything from the comfort of the room was out. Room service out, spa schedule out, any amenity that I paid for out. Next the valances in the ad photos were not in our room. The rods were but no valances. The furniture was outdated and the materials were grossly fades. Our dining table legs were fractured to the point we were afraid to use it. Who do you call, we couldn’t! Why did we stay, it was booked months in advance and paid for. The resort offers some value, just don’t buy into the ad photos, they’re extremely enhanced.

This girl was super clean and chic. The lobby is very nice with murals on the walls and a nice coffee bar in the lobby as well as a regular bar on the rooftop area by the pool. The area was safe and the rooms were excellent. Super clean and comfortable. The added robes and slipper was a plus.

You get a beautiful view from almost all locations. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. I didn't eat at all of the restaurants but the pizza at Il Forno was good. As were the drinks! I would have liked to see a few Mexican options on the menu, but, I could have ventured around the property to a different restaurant if it was really an issue. It was low season, but they seemed fully staffed and everything was open. The only comment I have is that I waited over an hour for help with my luggage on check out, despite making several calls. I had given myself plenty of time for the airport, but that could have been an issue for someone on a tighter schedule.

The service and quality of food and drinks at the pool bars were sub-par. Multiple waiters seemed to be annoyed when we would order drinks and would ask other people to make them in front of us. Also, the resort has a contract with a taxi service (which is very expensive in comparison to uber) and they make it very difficult to be picked up by an uber. You have to get carted to an “uber pickup area” in the back near a dirt road which is also closed after a certain hour and on Sundays. The suite with a pool on the balcony also felt misleading… the “pool” was maybe 2 feet deep and much smaller than the pictures. I would stay somewhere else next time.

The elevator doesn’t work and my husband was trapped in it as soon as we arrived. The gym was unusable as it was under water. There is nothing close by in terms of groceries, the Walmart is closest but would be a 25 minute walk and do not recommend it. The appliances worked but all the cupboards smelled strong like vinegar. The safe didn’t work and the door code didn’t work and when we locked the door it still banged around because it didn’t fit properly. The pool was nothing special at all. The place was large, nice bedding, tons of towels, but overall not worth it. We were happy to check out. I wouldn’t stay here again.
