The room was spectacularly clean! And the desk clerks are the sweetest, kindest people. Buuut.... not having a coffee pot, or even a microwave, being sort of "locked in" to the property after about 11:00 every night... those things sucked. The place is newly owned though and it has SO much potential so if you're looking to book next year, I'd definitely recommend doing so because the people and the cleanliness are really just A and the property itself has so much to offer in terms of resort style stays.

Staff was very nice. Building is very old. Definitely needs remodeling. Requested to stay upstairs due to heavy traffic downstairs in which they were able to accommodate. Stayed for two nights.

The pool was dirty, my room was filthy!! Pee and poop stains on toilet seat the bed sheets had little spider, floor was dirty!!! The shower was dirty and the water doesn’t drain so you will be in a huge puddle of water!!! The smell in the room was horrible like mildew and cigarettes!!!

No hot water, no hand soap, no hand towels & no working TV. Room was dirty and had to be cleaned by front desk attendant before I would even consider staying. No amenities. WiFi did not work. Once again Expedia failed. The pictures and description was nowhere near what the property actually was. Never again!

The air conditioner operated like a fan instaed of air. Room was about 80 degrees the whole time. A gap at the bottom of the door did not help matter. One of the light switches wasn't attached to the wall properly. The room was clean but smelled strongly of the cleaner.

The biggest thing I liked about the banana peel lodge was that it was cheap and affordable. Everything was walkable. The beds were comfortable. The staff were nice. It’s just everything else that we had a problem with, cockroaches, bathroom, smells, dead bugs, and other places Pool wasn’t kept. Those were the main big cons that we had with this place. .

for the rate its a ok places to stay, if you don't want to spent alot on the room . the room was big enough for 3 adults. No dresser to unpack your clothes and put them in. No coffee pot or microwaves in the room. They offer coffee in the lobby. would I stay here again yes, I would , we walk a cross the street to get to the beach. The pool was sad looking and we didn't get in in.

We canceled our stay with them because when we checked in our room was not cleaned and we were told we had to wait for someone to clean it and it would be an hour before anyone could.
