Stay twice- no hot water either time. Door locks are old and flimsy. There’s no coffee available anywhere in the early AM. Put a pot in the lobby

The whole hotel is old. 1 light in the whole bedroom area. There is no real dining room or bar...just a large cafeteria. Staff were ok.

Winíka Alterra is a small, family owned hotel and resort. The property consists of eleven private cabins. They’re very well maintained and with all the amenities. The staff is very helpful, accommodating, and detailed oriented. All the meals were delicious, fresh, and locally sourced-made from ingredients found at the hotel’s on site farm. (They even make their own chocolate which is used in the duck mole, desserts, or served hot). The beds and bedding are very comfortable, The quiet, jungle environment makes for a restful stay. Our only suggestion would be to invest in entertainment options during rainy days, such as a ping pong table, card games, or family friendly board games.

If you don't mind a room full of mosquitos this is the right place for you. Another thing is that the hotel won't let you bring in any food snacks or liquids so you can buy them directly from them at a higher prices. Receptionists was rude but the rest of the staff was very nice and helpful

I've been to the city of Palenque many times. This is my first time staying in this hotel. Definitely I will recommend this place.
