Initially directed to Avalon, I was relieved to find my booking at Avalon Cozy around the corner. The Cozy reception was far more inviting and tidy than Avalon’s. Check-in was smooth, though note there’s a local tax to pay on arrival. Accessing the suite was exhausting. The lift was too small for two, so my partner took it with the suitcase, and I climbed six steep flights of stairs. Once inside, the room was clean, well-decorated, and comfortable. The bed was spotless, and though I worried about Paris's bed bug reputation, everything seemed new and hygienic. The "bathroom" had a deep, relaxing tub but an awkward shower setup. The angled ceiling made standing difficult, and water splashed everywhere due to the lack of a splash guard. Storage space was minimal, with a small hanging pole, a few shelves, and a suitcase stand. The tiny desk and sink offered limited space, which felt impractical for organizing belongings or toiletries. The area around the hotel felt a little rough, but it wasn’t a major concern for us. While the room’s cleanliness and decor impressed me, the limited storage, shower issues, and difficult access detracted from the experience.

This boutique hotel is adorable. The rooms are small, but extremely efficient and comfortable. Easy to find and very close to the train station making it a very convenient stop. I would stay here again.

The room was decent. The stay was averge could have been better if the staff was more accommodating and fulfilled their promises made. *For context*. Me and my girlfriend ended up not liking the design of the tub in the room. We decided to go to front desk to see if we can change the room. Only room that was available was a downgrade which they offered us a refund in the difference in room prices. Unfortunately after making the room switch no such refund was granted. The amount that was supposed to be refuned wasnt anything life changing but the lack of trust worthiness from the staff left a sour taste in our mouths. Side note the breakfast croissants were delicious.

Nice hotel but really small rooms.
This is a nice hotel near the train station. Check-in was excellent. We opened our door to leave our bags while they were cleaning the room but it was way too small. We had three carry on size bags. Luckily, our daughter had her room next-door and she came the day before us so we stored our bags in her room for a while. This was not our normal hotel when we stay in PARIS but we were only here for one night before we went to Belgium. Room was very tight to get around. There was a safe in the room. The shower is level with the toilet, but it has glass halfway down the wall so you can see in from the bedroom. You can pull the curtains to block the toilet. We had room facing the street and it was pretty quiet. Hotel has a small elevator. I do not think there would be room for a wheelchair. Also probably only one large bag and one human might fit. Staff is very nice. Location is good. Breakfast is available for a charge.

Somehow our booking through Expedia didn’t work despite booking months in advance and receiving confirmation emails. When we arrived at the hotel they did not have any record of our booking and their hotel was fully booked, fortunately they were very good and offered us a self catering apartment for the duration of our stay. Have filed a complaint with Expedia but have had no reply to date.

good for lovers, not for families
there is no blinds and clear glass between the bathroom and the bedroom so it's only cosy if you are there as a couple ...unfortunately i was a father staying with my 8 year old daughter - so had to resort to having showers when she was asleep ..the only saving grace was a shower curtain between the shower and the toilet - otherwise that would be fully exposed to the bedroom too!

Make sure you want cosy. It's definitely cosy. Very well designed for the limited space. Enjoyed the historic maintenance to the facility. If you like the idea of a tiny design, this place is great. Very quaint and staff was very helpful.
