We stayed in Paris for 5 nights following a cruise, and picked this property due to its location near the Gare du Nord station for catching a train to CDG airport, and the value that it offered for the rating it had from reviews. The staff were excellent, and the breakfast (not included but only 8 Euro) was very good to start our day. This is an older building that has been renovated over the years, and while the main lobby is in great condition, the hallways on the 4th floor where we stayed were in need of some upkeep. Our room itself was small but tidy, but did not have any power outlets in the bathroom for a hair curler, so my wife had to use our I-pad as a mirror in the bedroom area. There was a safe in the room, but it was not bolted down to anything, so we chose not to use it and carried our passports with us. The biggest reason for a lower rating on this property was the noise, as the walls have no sound proofing at all. On most nights we had other guests coming in very late and making noise, or simply being loud in the adjacent room. If you are a light sleeper, you may want to request a room that is more isolated in the hotel.

Staff were lovely, location was amazing, 5 mins walk from the gard du Nord. Bars and restaurants and Montmartre in walkable distance. A little shabby around the edges with thin walls you can head through. But it's clean, there's hot water and the elves was comfy

Had a great stay here. Staff was friendly and this hotel offered great hours for continental breakfast. The location was convenient as well in regards to access to public transportation. Wish the room had a mini fridge to keep beverages cold or if ice would be available but other than that was very satisfied with my stay here.

I opted for the discounted breakfast which was offered to me at €8. Upon arrival I was told this along had changed. While only by a euro, it was unfortunate to have this dialogue with staff on the front desk. The property is very well located by run down and patched up, it’s affordable though, so I guess you get what you pay for. The breakfast offering was average - save your money and grab something to eat from anywhere else nearby
