Very good location, Well equipped kitchen, close to public transportation (metro & bus), close to a very good Sunday market, close to the Marais. Close to some good restaurants (Bofinger, Santa carnet), good size room ( we stayed in superior studio), close to grocery store Franprix that make it easy to buy products to the room. overall good experience. contras: not enough housekeeping (once in 9 days stay), didn't have Luggage racks (for 9 days stay we needed 2 racks) The room design is basic, slow elevators (its better to stay at lower floor enabling going down by stairs). I'll consider to come again. (couple age 74)

The location was convenient, and the staff was friendly during check-in. The bed was comfortable enough, and the amenities were decent. However, I did encounter a few problems during my stay. The cleaning was subpar, as the room felt dusty, and the bathroom didn't seem freshly cleaned. Additionally, top stove and microwave were not working, making it difficult to prepare meals. While the hotel had some good aspects, the lack of cleanliness and the malfunctioning stove made it less enjoyable. If management improves these details, it could be a much better option for future guests.

I have stayed at the Citadines Marais Bastille several times now, as it is my go-to FAVORITE stay in Paris! The staff is incredibly accommodating and efficient, and the fully furnished units are immaculate, it's near dining, Place des Vosges shopping and the best neighborhood in Paris (the Marais), and even a local grocery for cooking your own meals! BEST of all you can shop and eat like a local with fresh food, produce, and products from the Bastille Open Market every Thursday and Sunday morning - what heavenly stays I have had there!

Love the neighborhood that’s mostly the reason why this hotel has its five star ratings because the neighborhood is super convenient near the metro and grocery store. Has a kitchen inside so if you’re staying for a longer amount of time, you can cook your own food or entertain with a small group of friends.

Good location

Well located, staff is nice and helpful. I would recommend the property to update the bathroom in general. Bathtubs are outdated, Italian style showers are cleaner and more practical.

In general we ara satisfied with our stay. Receptionists were helpfull especially Asya. The sofa bed in the living room has to be fixed. The technician came but couldnt fix it. Having free and good coffee in the lobby is a very good service. There are 3-4 metro stations nearby and a bus station in front of the hotel. Also the hotel is very close to Place des Vosges and Marais.

A tired hotel desperately in need of an upgrade

Our experience didn't start particularly well. Check in was supposed to be after 3pm. We arrived well after that but had to wait about half an hour or more to check in, around 4.40pm. When we got to our room it was set up as a double; I had asked on booking for a twin. The hotel were luckily able to move us to a room with twin beds. The room was OK but way smaller and less nicely decorated than the photos show. It was very scruff and seemed grubby from years of use, desperately in need of a major upgrade. The hotel also had work going on to waterproof a large outdoor terrace 3 floors below; the noise woke us up each morning. I was disappointed and won't be going back.

Great stay in Paris!

We were given a very quiet, spacious room overlooking a courtyard in the middle of Paris! There was a transit station very close by, an amazing street market and a neighborhood loaded with nice restaurants and shops. Receptionist was warm, friendly and helpful!
