I had a wonderful stay at this hotel during my time in Paris! The room was exceptionally clean and had a modern, stylish feel that made it really comfortable to settle into. The bed was very comfortable — exactly what I needed after long days of exploring the city. What stood out most was the staff — warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Their friendliness truly made a difference in my experience. My only critique is the 3:00 PM check-in policy. For travelers arriving from the West, especially after a long overnight flight, it would be great if early check-in options were more readily available. That said, once I got settled, everything about my stay exceeded expectations. I’d absolutely stay here again!

We requested a room "with a view" and our window was cracked all the way from the left to the right so our view was thru cracked glass and were placed on the 1st floor, right above where the next door s Gare de Lyon Subway train was. It was hard to sleep each night cause our room vibrated and you could here the "click click click" every few minutes, rendering a solid night's sleep impossible. the manager did. Also our refrigerator was broken and warm for the first two nights out of seven nights. on the 2nd night, they brought up a working fridge and discounted our room a tiny bit for the first two nights. but the noise from the subway was unbearable, never mind the crack in the window facing the train station the entire week. They gave us 3 complimentary drinks and some nice chocolate but we will never stay there again and we travel to paris annually for years now and we're members of the Marriot hotel chain too......don't ever stay below at least the sixth or seventh floor or above at this place cause you won't be able to sleep. Also, the fruit at the breakfast buffet was obviously out of a can cause it was never fresh and the breakfast sausages and bacon were horrible. stick with the croissants and coffee if you can, but it was 30 euros each (around 35 USD) so overpriced for not fresh fruit and horrible breakfast meats..

We stayed at Courtyard by Marriott Paris and had a disappointing experience. We arrived early and waited until the 3 PM check-in, but didn’t get a room until 4:30 PM — with no apology or explanation. We booked and paid for a “Tower View” room through Expedia (at a higher rate), but were given a standard “View” room with no Eiffel Tower in sight. When I asked the staff, they confirmed the tower isn’t even visible from the hotel, which makes the upgrade misleading. We also booked for 3 people but got a small room clearly meant for 2, with only 2 towels and glasses. On our last night, I used a washcloth provided by the hotel and ended up with painful cuts on my back. I had to see a doctor after returning home. While staff were pleasant, no one addressed or acknowledged any of the issues. Paris was wonderful, but this hotel stay took away from the experience. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, and I won’t be booking this hotel again.
