Room was very very small. There was little space to use the bathroom and so it was difficult to use. The price, gowever, was very competitive and the service was pleasant.
On arrival we were greeted with a friendly welcome. Check in was quick and stressfree. The lobby area is small but bright and clean.
We ended up with a room on the 2nd floor, the lift is super tiny but very cute. Enough room for two with small luggage, or you can walk up/down the spiral staircase.
Entering the room we were originally shocked at the size. Very tiny. A double bed, two side cabinets, a table with one chair and a tv on the wall. The windows opened up to the street which wasn’t too busy or noisy (we slept with the window open without any problem)
The shower room/toilet is in need of updating and repair.. the tiles are falling off and there was some small mould patches in a couple of corners.
The staff all speak English and were friendly and helpful every day morning or night. Refreshments in the lobby aren’t expensive, can of beer for 1€50 and they gave us free filtered coffee in the mornings.
The Area of Nation is lively and pretty. Lots of happy hours in all the bars with friendly staff. Nation station has both RER and metro lines and very very easy to get into Paris.
Overall I would recommend this hotel and will definitely look at staying again. And no bed bugs!
The room is old, small and nothing good to said about it. There is no heater in the room. Bathroom has some running water issues. The safety deposit box in the room is not working. The daytime receptionist was not helpful at all. Her attitude was to say NO first regardless of what I asked. She makes me feel like I should not asked any questions. But, the night receptionists are very helpful. The owner of the hotel is truely a wonderful host. He is the perfect person to see early in the morning. I enjoyed greetings him every morning. Beside the owner, I will said that the location of this hotel is good because it is within 3-5 minutes walk to the train station.
Hotel was great the kids loved that their beds were upstairs. It was like a little appartment. The coffee was great. The staff at reception were so friendly.

Good, basic hotel for a short budget trip.
The hotel was exactly as I expected. Not a luxury place, but the room was fine, if small, and the staff very helpful. The location and the price were why I booked the hotel and I wasn't disappointed. I would stay here again if I wanted to be on that side of Paris for a solo trip.
This is a small hotel right next to a metro that has both subway and RER lines. The room was tiny (as is usual in Paris) but very comfortable and the staff were terrific -- friendly and helpful. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Okay hotel close to Metro
We stayed at this hotel as we had something on in the area. It is close to the Metro, however, if you were a first-time visitor to Paris I would recommend staying somewhere more central. The room was small, basic and clean. Wifi didn't really work in the room.
Excellent hotel with an "under the roof" atmosphere. The reception was great and went out of their way to be helpful. The room was charming but the slanted ceiling between the two dormers meant that half of the bed was a bit difficult to get to. The location is great and within walking distance to many sites.
Very clean rooms, in a quiet area close enough to all amenities! It's an old and quaint building, with a tiny elevator but very tall and airy rooms. The A/C was on and we were glad for that as this year the summer in Paris was extremely hot. There are a few restaurants in the area, with great foid at resonable prices and there's a grocery store within 10 min walk if the budget is really tight 🤗
