This place is very good. It's a real 3*. There isn't any luxury, the rooms are quite small but value for money is very good. The bed was confortable, the room was clean (although not super duper clean). I would not rent in summer as it gets quite hot in the room and there is no AC.

The only good thing about this property was the price, and even then I would argue if you have more time to plan your travels to find somewhere else more centric. The rooms were tiny the door would not fully open because of the furniture and the toilet and shower shared the same space, it didn’t have a light switch for the bathroom. The staff treated me like with cautious twice and had me show my keycard twice, which had never happened previously in any hotel. I have traveled to 16 countries btw. The breakfast was bad and way too expensive for what it is, just two slices of bread and some cereal. 9 euros when you can go to the shop a street from there and get the same for 5.

A reasonable hotel in a good location within walking distance of Bastille. The room was clean, but it was not well designed; the shower curtain did not really stop water from the shower from spilling onto the floor, the power sockets were few and awkwardly placed, and the light switches could have been placed more conveniently too. The check-in was smooth enough, but there was little sense of welcome: the receptionist was just doing his boring job.

Our initial room had very thick molds hidden behind curtains. Told staff and he was very dismissive and acted like we were causing trouble. Explained why molds are dangerous and he was having none of it but I was persistent and he asked another staff to check. He saw the molds and took a picture and agreed it is not safe. Asked what is going to happen now and he told me we were going to be contacted but without any explanation. Finally got moved to a different room (he did say at first they are fully booked and cannot offer refunds or change our rooms and suddenly there is this vacant room). Have not received any apology from them. NEVER GOING BACK. AVOID THIS HOTEL

The hotel location was OK for 2 nights and easy to reach but upon entering the hotel, I really couldn't understand where the title Grand came from. It was pretty rundown and in need of a complete overhaul or demolition.
