Our initial room had very thick molds hidden behind curtains. Told staff and he was very dismissive and acted like we were causing trouble. Explained why molds are dangerous and he was having none of it but I was persistent and he asked another staff to check. He saw the molds and took a picture and agreed it is not safe. Asked what is going to happen now and he told me we were going to be contacted but without any explanation. Finally got moved to a different room (he did say at first they are fully booked and cannot offer refunds or change our rooms and suddenly there is this vacant room). Have not received any apology from them. NEVER GOING BACK. AVOID THIS HOTEL

The hotel location was OK for 2 nights and easy to reach but upon entering the hotel, I really couldn't understand where the title Grand came from. It was pretty rundown and in need of a complete overhaul or demolition.

The hotel is well located.The rooms were cleaned every day, the breakfast for that kind of money was normal and you could eat your fill. but the faucet on the bathroom sink was poorly secured((overall everything is fine, considering the excellent location of the hotel (3 metro stations)

L’hôtel est plutôt bien situé, avec des transports pas très loin, notamment la place de la Bastille. La chambre est plutôt propre, mais très petite, comme la salle de bain. Les chambres sont très bruyantes, très mal isolées, on entend tout dans les couloirs. Personnel réactif.

Rude reception but overall it matched the price. Our flight arrived at 9:AM, we arrived at the hotel before 11:00 tired. The guy at the front desk said we can’t get into a room till 3:00 even if the room was ready. Strictly no early entry nor late checkout. I’ve never been to a hotel that we couldn’t get into before checkin if a room was ready.

I must admit, I read the reviews for this property after I booked it, they made me anxious. We had none of the issues stated, the staff were friendly and helpful, leaving the room card was not a problem as there was always a member of staff available to return it to you. The room was warm and clean, the bed was made daily and the towels were changed when requested. The room was on the small side but didn’t cause an issue, we were seeing Paris so didn’t need somewhere posh or fancy, we were hardly in it. The location was perfect. You can hear noise from the hotel, no road noise though, I’m a light sleeper so I took earplugs. The noise didn’t bother my partner. For the price this hotel gave us everything we needed. If we were to return to Paris I would use here again!

Typical dreadful 3 star hotel near Bastille area. Central heating was off despite freezing weather outside. Dreadful bathroom. Typical tiny lift where one person can hardly squeeze in. AVOID!!!
