The staff at NH Hotel Gare de l'Est were incredible - welcoming, friendly, incredibly helpful and attentive. I cannot speak more highly of them. I purchased the on-site breakfast package, and I'm so glad I did! Im addition to the food being varied, beautifully displayed, amd good, the staff in the breakfast dining area were so friendly, and cheerful and helpful! They remembered me by name each day and made me feel so welcome.

Great overnight stay

We stayed at the hotel for one night as a stopover. It was great for this. Although our room was small it was clean, bright, quiet and cool (it was very hot outside!). The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was squeaky clean.

Very nice staff. Hotel had some renovations but we did not have any issues. Very clean room. Bit small rooms but everything was there; fridge, bathrobes, slippers. Location was also very good. Hotel is not too crowded so liked that aa well.

Great location opposite Gare de l'est and a 10minute walk to Gare du Nord. Quite a small room but that's to be expected in central Paris and it was modern, comfortable and with air con. Only marking down as some of the hotel was being renovated at the time so some noise and mess but once that's finished I'd definitely stay there again.

We booked here because it is across the street from the Gare de l'Est, from which we were taking an early train the next day. The desk staff were friendly and efficient, the room was spacious, immaculate and well equipped, and the hotel's front door is 100 feet from a metro station, with places close by to eat. The hotel was undergoing interior renovations on the lower floor, but the staff took pains to contain the noise and the dust. Everything was clean and we could hear no noise in our room. Checkout was easy. I would stay here again.

Horrible experience! AC was not working for the entire building, our room was above 80 degrees and they provided no solution. They lied about the AC working and then tried to come up with excuses promising that it would be fixed the next day. The next day never came, we barely slept.

Amazing hotel in the 10th district, across from the Gare de L'Est and about 500 meters from the Gare du Nord. Our room was the cleanest, newest room I've ever stayed in. Got my own balcony and zero noise! I didn't get a chance to try the breakfast because I left too early, but I'm sure it must have been up to par. The staff was incredible! French or English, no problem! If you're coming in via the Eurostar (Gare du Nord), and have to take an early train, this is a great choice.
