Comfy hotel.
A simple clean room with good bathroom for an overnight stay. Not very central but a great bakery at the end of the road for coffee and pastries in the morning.

This is our second year staying overnight before travelling south the following day. Both times we had a superior twin room. It is small but well organised with a kettle and a coffee machine. Beds are super comfortable and the shower is spacious and plenty powerful enough. Staff are friendly. The buffet style breakfast is of a good quality with plenty of choice. A brilliant stay for proximity to La Gare de Lyon. Plenary of nearby restaurants.

Great spot for wknd in Paris
Conveniently located and beautifully presented. Room was comfortable and shower good, AC was perfect. Would be helpful to have fridge but cold still and sparkling water available at reception.

Perfect Place in Paris!
Hotel Riesner (pronounced REES-ner) was a very short walk from the Gare de Lyon train station which is super convenient if you want to take it from CDG when you arrive in Paris. Charming hotel located on a quiet side-street, this hotel was the perfect place to stay for our visit. Tarek was very friendly and helpful at check-in and every staff member we encountered, including the dining room staff, was pleasant and polite. Rooms are tastefully decorated and, while small, provide everything needed for a great experience. They even have a beautiful sauna and workout room that we utilized and we appreciated that they were open 24 hours. I highly recommend adding the breakfast option to your reservation. The food options were fantastic and you could even fresh squeeze your own orange juice which we loved. We also felt that starting off the day with a great meal while making a game plan to see the sights was worth the price. Not sure what the reserved cost is, but we paid 15 Euro/pp which is less than any cafè in the area. Neighborhood is very walkable and interesting and there’s even a laundromat a couple blocks away with a Creperie around the corner if you like to do your laundry as we did. In summary, we loved our stay at the Riesner and would absolutely stay there again next time in Paris

Decent hotel with room for easy improvements.
Nicely refurbished hotel with a nice atmosphere and furnishings. Central location without being amid all the tourists and noise. Good transport links. Rooms are tight but that's the nature of many old city centre buildings in Paris. Housekeeping didn't replenish shower gel so we said it in the morning at reception. Gel was still empty when returning to the clean room that evening. When asked at reception for some the night shift attendant had a bit of an attitude about it. Kettle and tea/coffee were unusable since there was no coffee, just sugar. I left tea/coffee open on the table for replenishment, but it was simply put back where it was with no coffee. It does feel like you're just renting a room in the city since the communal areas of the hotel are almost non-existent. Simple lobby (or entrance all with a reception stand), no bar and only a couple of seats. For a 4* hotel I think towels could have been better quality. Rose is quite a risky scent to have in shower gel since many ppl dislike it (e.g. partner). Very clean other than underneath the bed, where there was a lot of dust and fluff. Breakfast was not worth the €18. The space is too small and staff is not on the ball with replenishing milk in the coffee machine etc. I missed bacon to go with English breakfast. It's such a tight space that things like pre-sliced bread would be good. It avoids ppl waiting in line blocking the way. We could hear the upstairs bedroom walking a lot.

Gorgeous recently renovated hotel with a very modern look and feel. Great air conditioning, very comfortable bed, bathroom was spacious with really nice toiletries provided. The hotel is very close to Gare du Lyon and Place de la Bastille, and quite walkable to the Marais and other areas of Paris. Friendly staff were very welcoming.

Centrally located in Paris, under half hour from Eurostar station and about an hour from Heathrow airport. Major attractions and museum are within half hour away by subway. Under 12 minutes walk from both subway stations, there's also a street vendors that sells fresh fruits and cooked foods on Thursday and Saturday. Strongly recommend a French restaurant call Les Affranchis less 5 minutes away. Must try their duck confit, sea bass fillet, French onion soup and escargots.
