Not a fan of the neighborhood
Stay was great. Staff was very friendly. I had a twin room which was very small, but works. I did not like the neighborhood very much. But, train was convenient.

It’s not the nicest neighborhood, just down the street from the train station, but we felt safe, and once inside the hotel, it was clean and comfortable.

The lobby and halls leave a lot to be desired and don't match the standards of their rooms but the rooms are updated and very clean! The TV's in the room have Netflix, the bathrooms are beautifully upgraded, and the neighbourhood has some hidden gems (check out Rue de Faubourg St.Denis). The only unfortunate aspect of our stay was that the room we had booked was unavailable due to being under renovation, which meant that my mom, sister and I had to separate which was a disappointing end to the final nights of our trip. Surely we could have been notified of this in advance to give us time to find another hotel that could accommodate the 3 of us in one room to enjoy the time together. We wish staff/the hotel had handled this differently to avoid the disappointment and having to split up our group between two rooms.

Not the best but friendly staff
Had a room with two single beds but it was tiny and no room to move and only one side of the beds had a bedside table. There was a lot of dust under the bed and the toilet could have done with a scrub inside.. Had to turn the shower head round to the corner otherwise it leaked onto the floor so showering was awkward. Our room surrounded an outside metal staircase so you could hear people going up and down all the time so not the best for noise. Wouldn't stay here again, but the staff were really friendly.

Good but a couple of failures.
My room although comfortable lacked any nets for privacy on the windows with other rooms windows and stairways looking in which meant pulling the drapes for privacy. There appeared to be other rooms that had the net curtains so it was annoying that mine didn’t. My other problem was that the bathroom basin didn’t have a plug. As a wet shaver, this meant wasting water by having the tap running all the time that I was shaving. Apart from those two issues the room was perfectly good for a one night stay close to the main railway stations.

Great spot for our Paris trip. The hotel is in a fantastic location…the subway is a few minutes walk and on the perfect line to get you to all the must see spots quickly. The bathroom is huge, and the shower has great water pressure. After reading tons of reviews, this hotel did not disappoint.

Excellent experience in centre of Paris!
Friendly receptionist checked us in. Large modern elevator made taking luggage easy. Room modest in size with big comfortable bed, big screen TV, new bathroom with nice sized shower, coffee and tea - a great experience. Breakfast included was plentiful with large variety. Well located for metro. Excellent value for money!

Decent hotel for the price, but nothing whatsoever like the photos represented on Expedia. Extremely dark, tiny rooms and there was an abundance of very obvious black mold in the shower. Staff was friendly and helpful, but the rooms are lackluster, at best.

Perfect location
The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. Location was perfect for a couple of metro lines, lidl just across the road and many shops and takeaways to cover all bases. The reasons for the four star rating is the toilet kept over filling itself, the shower was a tiny cubicle, we kept having to open the sliding doors to move around to wash all parts, and the bed whilst clearly brand new was rock hard. Even with these minuses i would stay there again
