It is good value for money just outside Paris postcode but within 2 min walking distance of the train station putting you just 10-15 min away from Central Paris or La defence. Clean and decent sized but bathroom requires a redo. Nice and friendly staff makes it an excellent choice for a Paris trip on a budget

Absolutely amazing. Staff really friendly and helpful. Close to the Metro, so easy to get around. Restaurants on your doorstep, local shops and a shopping mall. Will definitely be back.

Excellent hotel 15mins from Paris
From the reception that offered me a free breakfast buffet to the perfectly white duvet cover the stay was nearly perfect. Charming people at the reception, great and complete breakfast (yogurt, cereal, fresh croissant, bread pastries, juice, expresso...) An unexpected surprise for the price. Especially considering that I stayed at the hotel across the street (for the same price) the week before and it was a disaster. Lots of restaurants and bakeries on the street...close to the train station.

This is a 3 start hotel. You shouldn't expect too much. I stayed only for two nights. The price were reasonable considering the location. Even thought it was clean, the toilet smell was unpleasant on the third floor. Apart from that everything was ok.

The building is up to date with elevator but no air conditioning.The hotel is across the street from a suburban rail line but not really close to RER or Metro. The neighborhood is a safe community of real Parisians not tourists. This is the authentic Parisian experience.

#1. I loved the location. The hotel is basically right next to the train station. #2. Very pleasant personnel #3 . Breakfast was pleasant Only down was no AC in the room. We got one fan but it was not enough we requested another one and we got it right away. Fortunately only one day was extremely hot the next days were great. I forgot we got a Great price too!

It wasn't in a great location and parking was difficult. The staff was very nice, but the hallways and the room had a smell to them. Opening the windows helped but had to shut them at night because of the loud restaurants and across the street.

Heat wave
Not that it’s Hotel Briand’s fault, but we stayed there during an unseasonable heat wave. Unfortunately Hotel Briand does not have air conditioning and they also did not have enough fans for guests’ rooms either. We slept with the windows open and if you have ever stayed in Paris, it’s not the quietist City at night. It was the perfect storm of bad conditions and I’m not blaming Hotel Briand at all. The staff were extremely nice and tried to as accommodating as they could. More fans would have improved conditions under the circumstances. Otherwise it was also a great location close to public transportation and a great variety of local food.

Clean and great value for money
It is a great small hotel with great facilities such as breakfast, conceirge etc. Great great value for money , it's 2 min walk from train station, 5 min from metro. It looks like it s a good business hotel
