Nice clean hotel. Upgraded and modern rooms and bathrooms. Close to dining in Le Marais and Place des Vosges. Walk to Saint Paul metro station and get to all monuments easily. Highly recommended.

Staff was amazing and extremely helpful during our stay. I liked the fact that there was someone at the front desk 24.7 , it made me feel very safe. The hotel is located in a nice and quiet area. I would recommend staying here for two-three nights max.

This really was a lovely boutique hotel and in a great location. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only negative is the room size. Our room was tiny for two of us. Still I would recommend.

Paris during Olympics
The hotel was in a great location - easy to get around the town - - with metro close by and close to river etc - - granted everything was locked down during the Olympics opening ceremony - but all good - - - rooms were a bit small but that is the nature of the hotel -- and the only reason I gave 4 stars vs 5 - - - front desk folks were very good - - and helpful

Overall we enjoyed our stay very much. Pros: Amazing location, very friendly staff (English speaking for those that speak English only), cute breakfast area. Cons: Room size is small (but to be expected) so don’t go in thinking you’ll have an abundance of space. Bathroom smelled like sewage at times but from what I’ve read this can be common due to age of buildings/piping etc.

The location is excellent. Very close to metro St. Paul and walkable to the core of the city and Place des Voges. Generally the room was quiet and a good bed. However—and we have stayed at many hotels—the room was carpeted with shag carpet and we kept Finding things in the rug (like hair pins). There was no coffee maker and critically, the shower was HORRIBLE. The shower was just in the overall washroom and there were no barriers for the water. The drain was clogged and the floor sloped away from the drain. The bathroom floor was quickly flooded. One had to quickly get wet, turn the water off, soap, then rinse. The reaction from management was incomprehensible.: sorry, next time stay in a different room. I say, next time stay in a different hotel. Very bad stay—the rating here is kind.

While the hotel had great reviews, it was disappointing in several respects: when we first arrived there was only one bath towel in the room for two. We asked for a bath towel and were told one would be brought up. It never came. We had to go down to the lobby to request it a second time and then helped the staff member reach the towels on a high shelf in the linen closet. The shower gel container in the shower didn't contain any body wash. The general cleanliness of the room seemed like a lot of cleaning details had been missed. There was some gunk in the bathtub, some hairballs on the floor. Another guest mentioned to us that there was a fly/bug problem in the basement cafe, so we didn't eat there. We paid for the rooms through expedia in advance, and when we arrived we had to pay an additional small city tax, which was no problem, but then later in the day the desk clerk insisted that we had not yet paid the tax and was only convinced when we produced the receipt, which he then proceeded to photocopy. It seemed like our comfort and convenience was the lowest priority. Would not recommend.
