I’ve written my share of hotel reviews but few measure up to Hotel Mistral. The facilities are wonderful but what makes this hotel an extra special space are the staff who went over and above in everything they do. From printing documents for us to making restaurant reservations to offering free pastries, coffee, and candy at every opportunity, everyone was extremely kind. Plus the hotel is close to several subway stops, bus lines, and the cute and convenient Rue Deguerre, a pedestrianized street that has everything you need. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. It is a five star experience at three star price.

I stayed at Hotel Mistral from June 6-9 for its affordability and proximity to Gare Montparnasse and the hotel did not disappoint. The room was sizeable for one person and the bed was super comfy. I was also pleased with how safe I felt considering Gare Montparnasse was only a 5-7 minute walk away. While the hotel block and immediate area have almost a suburban feel, the lively Rue de la Gaité with its wide variety of restaurants and bars is just 2-3 streets away and the bustling Edgar Quinet and Vavin areas are only about a 7-minute and 10-minute walk respectively. The Gaité metro station is just a few minutes walk from the hotel and I found the 13 line very convenient to connect to other metro lines and areas of Paris. The hotel staff were cordial and efficient and I enjoyed winding down in the little courtyard with a quiet happy hour beverage before bedtime. I would happily stay at Hotel Mistral again, even if I did not need to be near Gare Montparnasse.

This is a delightful little hotel close to the train station and metro. Wonderful staff and fantastic breakfasts. (Tina and Fernando were especially helpful and friendly!)

Great little hotel near Gare Montparnasse
Very helpful and friendly staffs, very convenient location to the rail station and great options area with supermarkets, bakeries and restaurants with metro minutes away. The hotel offered drinks and snacks throughout the day. We stayed on the lobby level floor without issues of noise. Room size was Paris standard with a large bathroom which was no problem for the 3 of us. Air conditioning worked well in the room. Everything was clean and no issue. Overall excellent value 3* hotel. Recommend.

Marc at reception was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable. I had an early am train so didn’t have time to take advantage of breakfast, but it looked great from what I saw as I was checking out. Easy walking distance to the big train station. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely terrace. Enjoyed strolling through nearby cemetery. Easy access to dining, metro, and even walked to Eiffel Tower (40minutes). Room was small but clean and bright and contemporary. Loved the neighborhood!

This was a really nice 4 nights. The staffs were great, perfect location to visit Paris. Good breakfast to start your day. Only problem was on checkout when I was asked to pay for breakfast which was included in my reservation. Other than that no complaints.
