Perfect for 2 nights away on the Eurostar to Paris
We wanted a hotel a short walk from the Eurostar and with a station close by for getting around. So this hotel is perfect for that. Staff were so helpful and warm. Would have love a proper hairdryer than the wall mounted one. Lots a great restaurants on the doorstep. Breakfast was lovely.

The airconditioner was not effective during the summer. They control whether to turn it on or off. Television is old and funky. only shows one English channel and does not even have cable. When you go to the lobby, the TV is updated. Soap, shampoo are not the best The night shift person, Kamel is such a wonderful person and deserves commendation. The buffet serves recycled food. They are not made fresh. They come from packages and heat them. Meats are recycled.

The staff was friendly and WiFi was provided but the facilities and service were not satisfactory. The standing shower was very small and had mold all around. The small fridge didn’t work for 3 days and after repeated requests was exchanged from another room. The bed sheets and towels were not replaced and daily cleaning was not thorough. The floor is not carpeted and there were cracks in the vinyl. At nighttime there were noise and loud voices from both outside and inside the hotel. For an 8-day stay a coffee maker and microwave should be made available in the room. Our stay was prepaid and non refundable which prevented any change for this vacation.

the bathtub had hair and it needs a door in the bathtub, when you take a shower all the weather splashes all over, and they should put more soup in the bathroom!!

The advertising pictures sell the hotel well, but it was totally below my expectations, it is really a 2 stars hotel. The stairs are too narrow, and at the time we arrived there was some linen and towels on the stairs, I couldn’t believe it. The room was tiny & old. The TV didn’t work. But, the man at the reception was cordial & respectful. I would never even think of the name of that hotel.
