Well located Modern Hotel in Paris

This hotel is in a very good position to see the sights of Paris. 5 minutes walk to the Seine and about 10 minutes to a main RER station. The reception staff are very welcoming and can speak english well. The rooms are bright and large size for city hotels. Plenty of lights and plugs. The photos are accurate and rooms are of a modern design. The only concern we had was about the shower which requires you to step into a bath to enjoy the excellent shower. As a mature person, I was concerned about slipping and would have appreciated a couple of handles on the walls. The breakfast room is small and you may hit a busy period but there is a good selection of cereals, fruit and cheese with a hot tray of scrambled eggs and sausages. An individual basket of fresh breads is placed on your table - lovely. The bar is small and a bit limited in choice but the staff are friendly and helpful and do their best to meet your tastes. Altogether I can thouroughly recommend this hotel to give a safe and well located stay in Paris

Centrally located, close to many attractions like the Louvre Museum, Tuileries Garden, Palais Royal, etc. Notre Dame cathedral is walkable from the hotel. Designer shopping mall is very close by. Many restaurants around the area. Staff are very friendly and helpful; speak English so well. Well recommended!

Don't be scammed by this hotel! We arrived at L'Empire Paris early in the day, and had a difficult time finding the hotel (there is no clear hotel signage other than a dirty doormat). It was quite appalling as it seemed we walked onto a construction site. We had no previous warning that the hotel was under construction, so as we walked in, it was very jarring random men pulling paint from the walls and tearing floor tape. We were shocked that our room was underground the hotel (have you ever stayed -1 level?). The hotel staff assured us that we were still above ground, but as we arrived at our floor, a nasty odor flooded the hallway. The hallways are dark unless there is motion censored. Might I add that the room looks nothing like the photos, and is extremely outdated (the floors are all scratched up like a horror film). On our first night, we noticed that the air vent was broken, where there were clicking sounds all night. The washroom layout was very weird and there were no lights in the shower, so we showered in the dark. Then, the walls are so thin that we heard water facet sounds all night. The second day, we immediately contacted the hotel staff to let them know our concerns, where they upgraded us to a more spacious suite on the 1st floor. We appreciate this gesture, but this was only because there were no other rooms available. We then faced multiple construction and elevator noises all day, even weekends. This is definitely not a 4 star hotel.

Great location

Excellent hotel in great location. Room had plenty of space and all staff were really friendly. We arrived a little early but this was no problem and we were able to check-in slightly ahead of time. Buffet breakfast was ideal for starting the day, without spoiling your appetite for lunch.

The location of this hotel is very convenient near the Louvre. There are also many shops and stores nearby. There is also a short walk to a mall and movie theater not too far. The staff at this hotel were all amazing, they treated all of their guest with A service. The hotel also offers a decent continental breakfast buffet. The rooms were very spacious. We even had a little balcony which i didnt expect. I would stay at this location again with no hesitations.

A lovely hotel. Excellent location close to lots of key sights to visit. Staff were friendly and the room was spacious. We’d definitely recommend going for dinner at Au Chien Qui Fume which is close by as the food was delicious. The only downside is that there was renovation going on in the main reception area so it was noisy at times and the builders got in the way coming and going from the hotel. Obviously we understand it has to be done and some point and it was bad timing as it coincided with our stay. We would highly recommend this hotel.
