The front desk person when we arrived on August 11 was really nice and accommodating. I wish I got his name because I never got see him again until we left on August 15th. Overall our stay was great.

Good Stay but Poor Communication About July 14th Parade Our stay at the Montfleuri Hotel in Paris from July 10 to July 13 was excellent overall. The hotel was comfortable, and the amenities were satisfactory. However, I have one major gripe. We checked out on July 14th, the day of the Bastille Day parade. Unfortunately, we were not informed that many roads would be blocked due to the parade. As a result, we were unable to get an Uber and had to walk around 10 minutes with suitcases and kids to find a taxi. This led to us missing our train and caused a lot of stress for our family. I wish the hotel had informed us about the road closures on check-in, especially knowing that we were a family visiting for the first time. This information would have been very helpful and could have prevented a lot of inconvenience.

The staff were really nice and accommodating. The room was clean. They were having some issue with some wiring in the hallways outside the elevator to get to our room. We had to climb over the worker and all his things for several days. They set off the carbon monoxide alarm while we were there but got it turned off quickly. The room was very small. We had a room with an additional twin bed. There was very little space to walk between the 2 beds, but we made it work. Unfortunately, when I booked on expedia, I thought we were getting the room represented in the picture. That is not what we got. This was my mistake, but disappointed in the price we paid for the tiny crowded room when I thought we were getting a much bigger room.

The hotel is in good location, the room condition is good. The bad things: The room airconditioner can’t be controlled in the room, we slept two nights under 30 deg outside. Tried to adjust the Airconditioner unit via the wall panel but did not work. At the end, people told me that you need to call front end for them to turn the unit on. Complimentary two water bottles of 0.30 Eu for the first day arrived only, no other necessities given. Even though we stayed there 5 days, costed more than $4000 Australian dollars.
