Firstly the airport was on strike hence our flight got cancelled. The hotel was informed atleast 24 hours before requesting to check in the following day. Upon arriving the entire reservation was cancelled and i was told to resinstate it i needed to pay for the night before. At 10pm in the night i hadnt a choice. The room that i paid for was supposed to be for eiffel tower view we were given another room. The room had no water, upon visiting the receptionist we were given two cups to take water from a fountain inside the hotel. The room has no USB cables and no area to charge your phones or use laptops because of the plug in types.

I cancelled my reservation due to an unforeseen medical issue that my doctor advised not to travel and when the hotel was contacted by Expedia to get my refund on the booking, your hotel denied the refund. Not very professional and most disappointing. This was supposed to be a special holiday for my wife and me and turned into a nightmare and your hotel certainly contributed to that nightmare. Ver disappointing.

Not a 4 star hotel, more like a hostel

Arriving at street level there are NO Signs to reception. You have to keep pushing your luggage through the building, across a street into a second building. There you find a lift but no instructions on how to get to the reception. Spoilt our whole visit. Had to queue up for breakfast for 15 minutes and got transfered to an I'll prepared second restaurant. I am a very very long time fan of Novotel all over the world. At least 30 visit over the last 40 years. This particular Novotel is not worth staying at.

The hotel was dirty and the rooms are very outdated. The cleaners did not clean the room until we complained at 6pm. The front desk receptionists were rude.

The hotel is in a very convenient location. There are several Metro stations within a 4-block radius. Additionally, its proximity to the Eiffel tower was ideal. The included breakfast was great, along with the in-room beverages such as soda and sparkling water. The hotel rooms need upgrades. For example, my bed was a full size made up of two twin mattresses. I felt like I was losing a battle with gravity each night since I got pulled to the "crack" at the center. Additionally, the satellite system for the TV was out for the duration of my stay. For the price of the stay, one would think this simple in room entertainment would be up to speed - it was not! Not a single channel to be had in English, nor was there any access to Netflix or other cable channels like HBO. They should be able to do better! Overall, the hotel was perfect for my purpose in Paris, which was to see the sights and explore which I did.
