I loved my stay at Novotel. The hotel has a contemporary, sleek design and the rooms have a minimalist luxury with many elegant and functional touches. The best part was the service of the staff who were so helpful, accommodating, flexible, and friendly. They were fluent in English and also spoke French with me when I tried without any of the snobbery you might experience elsewhere in Paris. They were accommodating about keeping my bags securely before and after check-in so that I could make the most of my travel days. The director of the hotel was amazing and brought my luggage out to my rental car when I pulled up to go on a trip to Normandy. He told me about the place where he grew up close to my destination, and was exquisitely polite, personable, and professional. I would definitely stay at Novotel again. If you book in advance, you can get a great value, too!

Terrible

Temperature control in the room was terribly HOT and they provided fans to cool down. Reported to manager who was rude. Customer relations manager had to step in address our concerns and she offered a free night stay in lieu of fixing the problem! The room was packed with furniture and the carpet was dirty. Breakfast lounge staff at both their restaurants were rude and unfriendly!
