Phone in room didn’t work. Holes in the sheet, perhaps moths? Dinner service on Saturday evening was woeful and inadequate. Breakfast coffee machines were broken. Over crowded.

Great place to stay near Stade de France

The check-in was easy and seamless. Front desk staff are very courteous and helpful. The room is spacious, clean and quiet. The reason I removed one star, is the bed and pillows are uncomfortable. The mattress seemed to be foam with not much support and the pillows were lumpy. There is no temperature option on the a/c only a dial and at the coldest setting it only trickles in but after running a few hours it was okay but not as cool as I would have liked. The food at the bar was delicious.

The restaurant was advertised as open, but no notice was given that the kitchen was closed. We waited until 7pm, only to be told—after sitting down—that it wasn't operating. Even reception staff were unaware. There was also a water leak and no staff available to assist—only one overstretched receptionist managing everything. Not the level of service you'd expect from a Novotel.

My recent stay at Novotel Saint-Denis Paris was disappointing due to several issues that fell far below the standard expected of a hotel of this calibre. Firstly, the hotel restaurant was advertised as open, yet we were not informed that the kitchen was in fact closed. We waited until 7pm for dinner, only to sit at a table in the restaurant and be told 15 minutes later that it was not open. Even the reception staff were unaware of this closure, which reflects very poor communication within the hotel. Secondly, there was a water leak - kind of a burst hot water pipe during our stay, and no staff were available to assist. There was only a single receptionist trying to manage everything, which was completely inadequate for the situation. Overall, the lack of communication and staff presence made for a frustrating and unsatisfactory experience. This hotel needs to urgently address both its internal communication and its staffing levels.

This hotel was a great stop while in the area for an event at the Stade. The whole place is modern and staff friendly. The area outside the hotel is busy and I don’t think I’d like to walk around alone at night. But daytime seems fine and we saw police patrols. We walked to shops nearby and down to the old town centre to see the Basilica (highly recommend!). Our room was air conditioned, clean, and spacious. It had a safe, good window covers, and comfy bed. One thing I didn’t understand is a feature where there’s a button to make the window between the bedroom and bathroom opaque transparent. It should always be opaque! And because it’s a window, any light in the bathroom (think during the night) shines light into the bedroom.
