Extremely impressed with the property and location. The apartment was a good size for a few days in Paris and had all of the amenities we needed, being able to access the balcony was also a plus. Staff were friendly and helpful and the location was also perfectly placed for us, with good restaurants and transport links close by.

The Nell was an excellent choice for us. We had a suite c/w separate bedroom, living space and kitchenette to give us a little more space for a 3 night stay. The hotel is around the corner from Rue Cadet which offers all sorts of lovely shops for bread, wine, and charcuterie for breakfast and snacks with many restaurant/cafe options nearby. The metro stations are within a few blocks as is Galeries Lafayette and Palais Garnier (Opera House). On small item - a shelf for toiletries in the bathroom's shower area would be helpful.

Great location, warm welcome, lovely building, beautiful clean rooms, comfortable beds. Only let down was the breakfast brought to the room in a shabby-chic crate - we’d suggest going to one of the many cafe bars on the doorstep instead. Overall - would definitely recommend!

Expedia charged us for our rooms and so did the hotel. Pretty horrible when you get get home and notice the hotel has charged you $3000 extra for your stay. The hotel blamed Expedia and Expedia did nothing. Poor customer service all around

The small apartment is poorly maintained: the bath stucco is coming off, the kitchen cabinets are not aligned and door are chipping off. What I was most upset about is the many drinks and candies that were left in the room with a confusing sign that apparently only one of them is complementary - and for the rest they charging you arm and leg. Basically a trap.

We booked this apartment for the convenience of having laundry facilities during our stay. However, when we arrived we found there is no laundry to use on site. The man in reception advised they have a laundry 'service' where they send your clothes to an external source for a fee. We walked to the next street where there was a laundromat and took care of it ourselves. Whilst the apartment itself was a reasonable size, it appears larger and fresher in the photos on their website. Our apartment's bedroom faced the main street corner and we had a street light shining into our bedroom all night. Blackout curtains would be beneficial in that room to keep some light out when guests are trying to sleep. Whilst the area has lots of eateries around, it means it is noisy at night. We understand Paris is a busy city which never appears to sleep but we found the area much noiser than we'd expected at night. We could also hear conversations from the room next door. Our apartment felt tired and worn. There were chips out of the formica on the cupboard door where the iron was kept, chips out of the bathroom door near the locking mechanism, a light cover missing on one of the lights in the bathroom and the toilet seat was crooked. There were stains on the hallway carpet leading to our apartment which added to the tired feel overall. We did have an issue with the toilet refilling and reported it to management. Unfortunately this was not able to be fixed before the end of our stay.
