The location in the Latin Quarter was excellent. 10 minute to the Seine. Our room faced the courtyard and you could open the windows for fresh air and the sound of the fountain outside and when it was closed, very quiet. The staff were were very accommodating with special mention to Maria-Theresa and Miguel who helped with a scheduling issue and dinner recommendation!

Helpful and friendly staff in a great location. We had a very large room which was decorated elegantly. A door on the bathroom would have been nice since the shower door is clear glass, and our 22-year old daughter was traveling with me and my husband. The staff was very quick to respond when we requested ice and an iron/ironing board.

We had a wonderful stay at the Rive Gauche! It is a beautiful hotel. The room was large and comfortable. The staff was very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Teresa was especially nice. She was so helpful and gave us good dinner recommendations. We also enjoyed the fact that the hotel was on a lovely square right in front of the Sorbonne. We will stay at the hotel again on our next visit to Paris!

Loved the location of this hotel, quiet at night, but walkable to so many great restaurants and to so many sights. The staff was amazing, and the breakfast each morning was top notch. Our room was perfectly designed, with lovely accents of the old original building beams exposed, yet completely modern. Loved having two windows that opened up to the view over the plaza. My only complaint was the mattress was a little more firm than I like, but my husband didn’t have an issue with it. We would stay here again next time we come to Paris!

Location was perfect, easy walk to our favorites Pantheon and beautiful Jardin Luxembourg. The fountains in the plaza in front of the hotel entrance made it easy to find. Staff was super friendly and helpful and spoke English, room was clean and looked exactly like the pictures online, well-thought out design with lots of storage cabinets to stay organized, coffeemaker in room, breakfast wasn’t free but was very good with variety of options, sweet and savory, the shower had strong water pressure and stayed hot long enough for a relaxing wash after hours of walking. This was our first trip to Paris and will look for this hotel on any return trips

This is a nice boutique hotel in the heart of the city, the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable however the hotel is dated and you can see wear and tear everywhere even in their towels and bedsheets there are wholes and tear which was unpleasant. Their amnesties are very poor and they only provide it once , we stayed 7 nights and they only provided 2 showers caps for the whole period, They don’t provide vanity kit or anything else rather than shower cap and shoe shine. The room we got for the first 2 nights was dusty and there was mold on it, they eventually changed our room which was a bit inconvenience. Overall the highlight of the hotel is their staff. It’s a bit overrated as a 4 star hotel.

This is my second stay and it checks many boxes. I did pick one of the less expensive rooms and it is small. Elevator fits 2. Coffee, tea and snacks in the afternoon are so nice to have.

Very nice hotel with an amazing location, great staff, and stylish, comfortable rooms with a mini bar. What brought my rating down to a 4 instead of a 5 was the lack of prior notice about construction that affected elevator usage—I had to take a detour from the 1st to the 3rd floor just to reach the ground level, which took away from my time exploring the city. Additionally, this was the first hotel I’ve stayed at where the city tax had to be paid at checkout rather than upfront. I prefer handling that in advance, especially when you’re in a rush to leave.

The Select Hotel Rive Gauche is in a great central location one block from the Gardens and easy walk to Notre Dame. Quiet location with fountains right outside and metro stops nearby. We stayed in the Suite with 3 adults, king and twin. Spacious, full tub with large shower. Sliding dividing doors for privacy in between sleeping areas. We would stay here again.
