Housekeeping was not ideal, rooms were not too clean and the toilet flushes water out of the bowl, so you’d have to close the lid to flush…Staff was amazing though.

The AC made the room smell terrible not sure if they have cleaned the vents/filter. Also tried to charge me an extra 200 euros when I paid in full already. The bath tube was dirty and not cleaned before we arrived.

Small rooms. Not enough tables in the lobby for b-fast. Air condition leaked and water on the bathroom floor. Some of the time the AC did not work at all. Hair dryer was from the early 70's and did not dry hair.

Staying at the Villa Alessandra is strictly okay. The single room is TINY. You have to walk sideways to get around the bed. If you ask for a room with a normal amount of space around the bed there's a surcharge. You can't access the closet easily because of the cramped space. Every time my room was turned over, nobody bothered to bring in another bottle of water. I have never been in a hotel which doesn't give you a bottle of water with every turnover and it's something you have to ask for. Which I had to do, repeatedly with varying results. The next and more serious charge- one day I came back to my room door slightly ajar. I thought somebody was still cleaning, but whoever they were had neglected to safeguard my privacy and my belongings when they didn't bother to do the bare minimum and close the door. As a solo female traveler I didn't enjoy that experience. Finally, although I paid for an AC room the AC never worked. The people at reception "Explained" how it worked but never bothered to come upstairs to try to address the problem where it was. In fact one of them told me to "open a window". I would rate this at 2.5 if I could. Only go here if you can't afford elsewhere.

Close to metro, few minutes to Arc de Triomphe, surrounded by local market and shops. You can experience the area like the locals. Rooms are small but the toilet is good and clean. Will deffinetly book again next time.

Charming little provincial type hotel. Room was lovely, bathroom clean and convenient getting to public transport. I was somewhat disappointed being on the second floor and the lift didn’t work. It was difficult getting luggage down and no help was offered. I was very upset that the cleaner left my room door open and ajar, anyone could have walked in a taken what they wanted. Admittedly, the reception staff offered a free breakfast but I thought the issue was way more serious than that could make up for
