This place is terrible and should be shut down. Filthy, no management present, noisy, cockroaches. We booked a 5 night stay and after the first night we stayed with friends. I want a refund.

It was clear that the property had undergone fairly extensive updates. However, the toilet had marks from cleaning with a metal toilet brush that made it appear less clean than it probably was. The light switch in the bathroom was also quite crooked, which made it look like a shoddy job was done on the electrical. Small things like that can leave a bad impression.

The entire place seemed run-down and unclean. Also there were people arguing in the hallways all night and staff did nothing about it. I felt unsafe.

You get what you pay for
The staff were very friendly, but the property was in rough shape. It’s definitely a “you get what you pay for.” We appreciated the location across the street from the Legacy Castle, but it’s not walkable. Even though it’s advertised as non smoking the halls smelled of cigarettes and must and the room wasn’t much better. The room was dim and dingy. But the worst was the bed. We questioned if the bed was a mattress or just the box spring—the carpet floor was softer. You could feel all of the metal coils and it was impossible to get a comfortable position. There was no comforter, just some scratchy sheets and blanket.
