My family and I (4) of us checked in about 8 minutes after 3. We were greeted by Mohammed I believe he said his name was... hardly spoke, but was not unpleasant or harsh. The place felt off from the entrance, as we went up in the elevator it got worse, carpetry looked dirty and that should have been our RED FLAG. We went to our floor, and were greeted with a musty and other smells that we couldn't tell exactly what, but not pleasant aromas. Then, wet looking towels at many doors. When we reached our room the mot pleasant thing about our room was the AC was on fairly high, maybe to mask a smell there too. We did not feel safe, and some things were dirty, so did not want to risk an asthma attack, rodents nor bed bugs or worse, so we decided to leave immediately. I told the front desk receptionist we will be speaking to the manager or other, please check us out and that we were r refund. He said that because we had paid and ordered the room online, we needed to cancel online. Very annoyed, disappointed, inconvenienced, & dumbfounded at the lack of care at this establishment. I unfortunately can not recommend this place to anyone unless this establishment close to do the necessary maintenance, upkeep and renovations they need to do when guests aren't around to make a stay comfortable and worthy. Now I see why there was a fairly low price on a weekend. It still was not worth it. The front desk receptionist didn't say a word else, as if saying I can't even blame you.
