Unfortunately, this hotel is quite a bit older. One thing to know is that all the Hyatt houses in Hyatt in the area are now charging for parking. I booked this before they started charging for parking. So just a heads up if you don’t know it when you get there you will have to pay for parking. The hotel itself could use some updating. The plugs in the lamps are not strong enough to support a USB cord to charge anything. It could just use a little bit of updating and new technology. The couch in our room was so old that when you sat on it, you sunk really deep in to an empty base. The coffee maker look like it went through the war so I didn’t use it. The whole room could’ve used a giant deep clean.

Our stay at the Hyatt House Parsippany-East overall wasn't bad. An in-room kitchenette provides the basics to be able to cook breakfast and lunch. The location is good, there is a walking trail across the road from the hotel, the breakfast is decent and the staff is really friendly and helpful. However the hotel is old, the rooms smell dusty and musty, I suspect we had bed bugs/dust mites in our room and the pillows were incredibly uncomfortable. Might stay there again, but would love if management tend to the cleanliness and provide different pillow options.

Property looks like a mini castle.. it's behind a hotel that looks like a bigger castle. Area is very quiet and gives you a safe feeling. I imagine this property would look amazing near the holidays because it looks like a hotel out of a Hallmark movie. The front desk staff treated us great and we had a great time there.. will definitely book there again!
