Very nice stay at the boathouse.
We had an enjoyable two week stay at Jomtien Boathouse. The hotel is well located, just next to the beach and within a short walk of many cafes, restaurants, and bars. Our room was pleasant and spacious, the staff were friendly and helpful.

Budget Beachfront hotel with balcony
Stayed at the boathouse for 2 nights, it was clean and great value for money. Staff were very helpful, welcoming and friendly and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a budget good value for money hotel. Food downstairs in restaurant was tasty and reasonably priced.

Air conditioning was not effective so very stuffy in the room, in the advertising it said off road parking , the parking is in public parking bays in the road so we were lucky to have a parking place

Old world charm in an oriental setting
An old rustic looking beachfront hotel with balconies overlooking the ocean. Just its outward appearance gave it a charm which is hard to find in these days of glass and chrome. The bar and restaurant area were well maintained with the food being a great choice of European and Thai. I tried both during my 6 day stay and found no complaints in either style. The service was more than adequate, not only in the bar and restaurant, but overall with the housekeeping staff deserving special mention.

As there are no elevators, those with 'stair difficulties' need to book lower floor or bool elsewhere. There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms - these would make a big difference. Staff are consistently friendly and helpful. Rooms are well maintained and clean. Have stayed here a number of times and experience has been consistently the same as that in May 2018.
