Amazing hotel with excellent service in a great location. Stayed here many times since it’s been called The Sabai Lodge. Will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Thailand.

I have a hard time giving a poor review for a cheap hotel, but this place should and could be so much better and it wouldn’t take much. WIFI didn’t work for the 5 days we were there. The room was kinda clean but the property was neglected. I tried to get ice for the room on several occasions and couldn’t make it happen (I offered to pay $10 and still couldn’t get it). There are some good people working, but there are a few who obviously don’t care about the guests.

under new ownership. this hotel has gone to the dogs. i have stayed there over 20 years but never again. the hotel it self is so run down and dirty. the staff espesialy on reception are the rudest most un-helpfull people i have ever met. my advice is to avoid this hotel at all costs. i will be,

This has to be the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in the staff not helpful at all staff are rude the food I wouldn’t give to a dog , the rooms dirty soiled sheets hair on them snd floor , when asked to change the sheets all I got was room is clean and sheets changed today without going to room to check them STAY AWAY

The room was quite pleasant but lighting was poor. The cleaning of the room was poor. The sink and shower area wasn't cleaned and the floor, although swept, was never mopped. The sheets was changed every day which was good. One last thing, a kettle was provided but no cups to drink from and no tea or coffee sachets provided, so what was the point of having a kettle?
