Hotel Angelis was a pleasant surprise to us. Though our trip was planned last minute we took out time looking for a hotel. When I booked it, I wasn't sure whether the location was good or not. It turns out it was perfect. It's within walking distance from the old town - maybe 30-40 minutes? But if you prefer you can take the tram or the metro as both as close to the hotel and easy to use. The area itself offers some nice restaurants and cafes. Our room could host up to three people. It was spacious and took us back in time. I love modern hotels, but it was quite an experience staying at a more traditional older looking but well kept hotel. The bathroom was also spacious and the shower was amazing. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. And breakfast offered options to everyone. Last but not least, we had a nice balcony where we could just sit, chat and enjoy a bit of rest. Thanks for such a lovely time.

The staff were very helpful and polite, and our room was incredibly well maintained. They also contacted us before our stay to ask if it was for a particular occasion, and even left a small surprise for our arrival! The hotel itself is in a lovely location, with a short 10 minute walk to the nearest tram station

This apartment hotel is perfect. Clean and spacious. It was a plus having a washer dryer in the room. I just wish the instructions were in English still it’s very different than North American versions. I arrived early and my room was ready. They cleaned it daily which was a surprise to me. Honestly didn’t need it. I just wish the pillows were better and not like flat pancakes. The one downfall was that some maintenance was being down in the building. When I stopped back to the hotel to change my clothes I slipped and fell hard on the concrete because of a slippery plastic that the workers used. Both workers saw me fall and didn’t help me up or ask me if I was alright. In fact on my way out they asked me to jump down a few steps since they were working. Massive bruise on my knee. I would stay here again and recommend it.
