Not much to say, very disappointed
Room was old, dirty and matesses probably 20 years old. Didn't sleep all night, worst stay I've had in 15 years. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, breakfast was good.. but was spoiled by the night before in that terrible room.

Cool place to stay!
Charming "Castle Hotel" in the Scottish countryside, definitely some cool ambiance. Friendly staff, decent comfortable room, great breakfast and free parking with lots of space. I'd stay here again!

Staff were excellent, bar and restaurant lovely but things were a bit dated, a smart tv in the room at the least would’ve been a bonus as very few freeview channels available, creaky floors upstairs, also drain covers came off frequently when using the pool

Nice looking hotel in a great area. Eautiful farm country surrounding you. Nice pool. Very friendly check in person. My two complaints were the bed is a very stiff uncomfortable matress and (yes im American) the room was very warm. The window opened but it was still too warm for me to sleep even with the tiny fan provided. Not worth the $$

Staying there was a pretty good experience in general. Staff was pretty good as was the food and the bar. The grounds had some trails to walk and and interesting relief map of Scotland. My only concern was with how my African brother in law was treated as compared to myself. When he asked for certain things from the staff he was told, this couldn't be done and that couldn't be done yet when i asked it wasn't a problem. They were eager to get it done. I'm not making accusations rather wondering outloud....

Great Hotel
This was a last minute stay for me and I enjoyed my stay. The room was comfortable, the property is amazing to explore, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. A fabulous buffet breakfast was included. I highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful hidden gem
Friendly staff, great breakfast, beautiful grounds, comfortable bed, personal preference- I didn’t like the pillows, worn carpet, creaky floors. I suppose they add to the ambiance of the historical hotel. We were too hot during the night so propped the window open to get fresh air. Didn’t have any other way to regulate the temperature of the room
