If you are looking for a quiet stay in the Wisconsin north woods this is the place for you. Our room was clean and spacious. Nice indoor pool area and great views from the room. Very relaxing! Only complaint is it would be nice to see a little more attention to the garden area around the rooms patios.

We will be back!

The resort is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and loved the view from our balcony. The Boundary Waters service was excellent. The server was friendly and the drinks and food were great. We rode the trails on our UTV one day, and golfed the next. It was a perfect mini vacation. If I had to come up with any negative comment, it would be the resort fee, and vouchers can be a little confusing. There were 10 in our group, and everyone said they couldn’t wait to come back next year. The only thing we are going to change is that we are going to stay longer to enjoy this beautiful resort.

It is a beautiful remotely located in northern wisconsin and the unprepared slot across the river. The staff was extremely helpful.The only drawback was communication.Your cell phone did not work because the lack of a tower near the resort. And if they had a pet friendly end that would've been exceptional I could have brought my leader lab. Is awesome memories were made!

Not really a resort

Grounds are beautiful and clean but could use some updates. Amenities advertised are not all available. Only 1 restaurant on grounds and it was either too understaffed too open or out of things. Fine for a comfortable place to stay and I'm sure great for a roubd of golf but doesn't really justify the "resort" status or fee.

Could be for you

Spacious rooms and beautiful property. Check in was extremely slow. Bathroom in room was not good. The shower floor was cracked and stained. The underside of the shower safely bars was filthy and the shower head was white with calcified crud. The main steak house restaurant was not open??? We ate at the Boundary Waters Bar and Grill. The bar tender was incredibly slow. The food was horrible. We both had sandwiches. They were soggy and so were the fries. If you truly want to disconnect, this place is for you. Virtually no cellular service anywhere on the property. The internet service provided was inadequate. Unless it was very early or late one couldn’t log on and the hotel was only 42% occupied.

Wonderfully historic.

Wonderful historic hotel. Lots of amenties for fee, and amazing staff. If you enjoy golfing, atv riding, biking, hiking, and fishing and boating this is the place for you. It is a bit of grid, not great phone service . Only had internet in hallway or the lobby.
