Short on supplies

No facial tissues - they said they were out of them. Only 1/3 of a roll of TP upon arrival for 3 days - we got an unwrapped backup from the maid in the hall - her last one. Breakfast foods run out fast - no yogurt or egg items our first morning.

So dirty we couldn’t stay so not sure the comfort of the beds. Walked into the room to filth. Stains on the couches bathroom walls and floors. Completely unacceptable (x 2 rooms) we left

No housekeeping

Hotel was nice. Room was clean and laid out nicely. We stayed for two nights, but our room was never serviced. The towels we dropped on the floor were not replaced, the garbage cans remained full, and the tissue box only had one tissue in it.

Our room was very clean. Restaurants and downtown area were nearby. Continental breakfast was OK, not the best, but fine if you want a bagel or some cereal, fruit and coffee. Waffles were available, and other people who had them seemed to enjoy them. There was a steamer in our room but no iron. I have never used a steamer and made an attempt, but it would have been nice to have an iron to use with the ironing board. Overall, very pleasant.

Unfortunately despite the review caught this location at a bad time. The manager had quit. The lady at checkin said she walked out the week prior and was called back. They are short staff and she said it’s going to take a while for the hotel to get back to what it used to be. Checkin time was scheduled for 3pm and the room was not ready until 6pm. The lobby bathroom was out of order. She asked me what I would like to do because my room was not ready and I asked what my options were and she said I actually didn’t have any since they were fully booked… she was trying her best given their situation. The room had an odor to it. There was black mold on the bathroom ceiling, and it looked like ash was left in the toilet… leads me to wonder how clean our room actually was? Really disappointing especially for how much this room cost. I was given the regional or district managers number in order to call her and advise my experience and ask for a discount. This was a very inconvenient stay when on vacation.
