The staff was extremely helpful. I had requested a very specific room to accommodate my elderly family member and they were more than helpful.
The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the pool was out of service.
We did not stay, the hotel had such a strong odor of mildew it caused an allergic reaction in my wife within a few minutes of being there. We went back to the front desk and gave back the room cards and let them know we were not staying and why. We had to find an alternative hotel at the last minute.
Staff were rude to my children when they asked to have the syrup refilled. It was never refilled. Staff were rude to my children when asking for clean towels. They never arrived. Room was stinky as if it had wet carpet that was not properly dried. Housekeeping never came in to clean. The oil was under construction.

The hotel inside has been updated and very clean. The front desk staff were very friendly.
My first night didn’t start off so well.
I attempted to shower at 6:00 with no hot water, again at 9:00. After leaving running only had Luke warm/coldish water.
I went to call the front desk and the phone didn’t work. I went to the front desk. They were very apologetic and gave me a key for the room across the hall. I said I’m not moving rooms tonight, but will try the shower. No go on hot water. The next morning and through the remaining days plenty of hot water!
The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. Everything was always clean throughout.
FYI: The room with the kitchenette doesn’t come equipped. No cups, plates, forks or pots & pans. So I wasn’t sure why this is offered unless you bring your own supplies. Hard to do if you’re flying.
Upside very convenient to food, shopping and base if you need that. A quick run and you’re at the Beach or Gulf Shores.
Over all I give my stay 4 stars because of the 1st night.
It was very nice and pleasant. The bed was a little hard for me at first but it got better after tha first night. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.
