The person who checked me in, Tifffany(?) ,was very pleasant and friendly. However, the woman front desk person the next day led me to believe Tiffany did not tell the truth. While I had gone shopping the next day, I lrft my phone at my daughter's. She answered a call on my phone and it was the front desk at the Inn. The clerk told my daughter that I had not paid that morning like Tiffany reportedwas my plan. She said I needed to pay or our belongings would be moved out shortly. Of course I called as soon as I got that message. The clerk said I had promised to pay that morning for the rest of our stay. I said I had not said that. She was very accusatory and bordered on rude. I apologized and said I had not eexpected that at all, because I usually paid at check out time.That is when the word transient came into my head. As I was driving around the Inn when I first arrived, I saw 3 or 4 men outside a room amid some boxes and what looked like their belongings.
We always stay there when we visit my daughter in Pace. I have never paid for the whole visit up front.
