We are travelling from city to city. We stay in what we call a "tent room". Mostly, only there for one night (in this case we stayed longer and used it as a central location to explore the area around Penzance), the breakfast was included and was good and the host was very accommodating to our food needs. The parking is beside the hotel, it may be a challenge to park a larger vehicle. The neighbourhood had a couple of restaurants, we ate in different parts of the Penzance area (Though we did eat at the Mexico Inn one night - they were great). We would not stay there again for one night, or many nights. It would have been better to find a B&B outside of the town of Penzance and used that as our "central location" for the day trips.

Room very small and noticeably deteriorated, sink next to bed, whole place smells damp and after cigarettes. When realized, there is no private bathroom and only small shared bathroom on corridor, we didn't even stayed over night and found something else.

This is a run down B&B/hotel that was not appealing to us. Moldy ceilings and tiles in a shared bathroom, our room stank, the hotel below stank, we left after 15 minutes and went to a Premier Inn hotel. Lost our money! Would not recommend this place to my dog!!!

I had a pleasant stay over the long weekend. The location was convenient, and the staff were friendly, but the facilities need some improvement. Certain amenities could use an update. With a few upgrades, this hotel could offer an even better experience.

The booking was made for a night stay before boarding the Scillonian. On check in it was quite busy and took a few minutes to work out where to check in. Once checked in everyone was helpful with parking and sorting our luggage. We had a triple and although there was a lot of furniture for the room it was comfortable for sleeping, clean for the children and there was an en suite for our room. We were above the bar and obviously there was some noise but it was all quiet by ten thirty and we had a really good night sleep. We booked without breakfast and I would do the same again-the juices were not fit for drinking and the milk was unusual…maybe UHT. I would stay again for the same price just for the good location. We really enjoyed an evening stroll to the beach and some late night pizza and cider in the local surf bar.
