Average breakfast buffet that ran out of supplies, grumpy bartender, no handsoap, paid for upgraded views which was mostly rooftop a/c. On the upside, this is a pet friendly hotel, which we love.

Stayed for a friends wedding weekend and overall really enjoyed our stay. The first night we were there we did go to the restaurant downstairs and sat for about 30 minutes with no service however and there was still an hour and a half before it closed and the server walked by multiple times and didn’t even come over once so we left and got something else to eat. Other than that we loved our experience.

Time for some upgrades!
The rooms are very dated. Mattresses were horrible. One of the bed spreads had stuff smeared on it, like that bed had not been changed with new bedding. When we pulled out the couch bed, it still had dirty sheets covered in crumbs from the previous guests. For breakfast all the bacon and sausage was behind the counter in the omelet line, but line was so long and slow! We ended up eating scrambled eggs and cereal. Not impressed and will not be staying here again.

The room I booked was provided to someone else. I didn’t get the wellness package (air purifier) which I needed due to seasonal allergies and pathogen changes due to new vegetation that is native to the area. The shampoo and shower gel was also empty and the toilet flange was broken. Listened to a toilet try to refill all night and all day. (Traveled over 13 hours to stay at this location for a family members 100th birthday!) So dissatisfied we decided to leave a day early. I guess shame on me for booking through Expedia because when I asked about some reconciliation, they told me I didn’t contract with them and there was nothing they can do. Maybe Expedia can help me and take the matter on with Embassy? Who knows. Will not stay at this location as there were stains in the carpet, the outside areas poorly manicured & cobwebs galore under every walk way. Not to mention, parking is part of the stay expense? Seriously? Their parking lot is sized for maybe 1/3 capacity. If you’re not lucky enough you have to park across the street. Get it together!
