Limited in-room internet and storage
So many things are good here - friendliness of staff, eco-friendliness, and condition of hotel. But I had a room that was in a corner of the hotel without internet access, so every time I wanted to use the computer, I had to go to the common area on the first floor. Not convenient for sure, particularly as a business traveler. The rooms also have very limited storage (i.e. no closest or drawers), so when you're there for a week, you have to "live out of a suitcase" - no fun. Fortunately they provided a temporary desk, as the room doesn't come with that basic item.

Stylish tardis of a hotel!!
Great overnight stay. Room quiet and well equipped. Self service kitchen in the evening, breakfast buffet with artisan pastries next morning. Good stuff 👍

This hotel is very safe and comfortable Boutique Hotel in convenient location. The hotel provided earplugs, which helped block out the music from the streets every night. They served really tasty, flaky croissants every morning.

Reasonably priced, inclusive breakfast was decent (even if the coffee was a bit cold by the time I made it to brekky) Biggest complaint was that the hotel room itself was missing a fridge of some sort. I brought a few drinks with me but had no way to keep them cool! Other than that I was very happy with the hotel, cheers

Great overnight stay at Alex Hotel to attend a concert at RAC Arena. Parking next door, easy check-in, and a short walk to RAC Arena, with plenty of dinner options on route. Will stay again!
