So many hotels and other accommodation offer guests a check-in to be as late as possible and check-out early. To me, this negates the premise of a ‘stay’. Thank you to the management of the Hougoumont for recognising the value of being made to feel welcome, we had a wonderful stay!

Lovely little hotel. Excellent for access to main cafe strip in Fremantle. Disappointed that I couldn’t get parking for the first night of my stay and very surprised that at least one parking bay is not allocated to each room. Something to definitely improve on.

No where to park other than blocks away from accommodation. Someone tried several times to get into our room throughout the night, people intoxicated making a lot of noise. Door slamming and room was too small. Disappointed

I really enjoyed my stay at Hougoumont Hotel. The lady who assisted me to check-in was lovely, even allowing me to do so a bit earlier than 2pm and helping with my booking. The design of the hotel was beautiful, bespoke and clean. My room was enough space for me and very clean. The breakfast was simple and enjoyable. I had no issues during my stay and wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Fantastically positioned in the heart of Fremantle Easy walkable access to town , train bus station and to the jetties for ferries to Rottenest Hotel is lovely and safe especially for solo travellers.
