We stayed three nights at the hunting tower in Perth. It was just what we needed. The staff were so friendly, the restaurant served good and great value food. We had fish and chips and a burger. Good quantity and the burger was nicely cooked. Breakfast was served by friendly staff and had very good options direct from the kitchens. Good selection of extras. The room was excellent, very clean and well equipped. The tea service in the room Was well stocked with biscuits, tea options, cocoa and coffee. The room was large and had a good sofa and good sized television to watch while we enjoyed a drink. The bar is fully supplied and well run with all options for your tipple. Yes I fully recommend this hotel for a break and a get away. It is very close to Perth so easy access to Edinburgh for day trips and the rest of Scotland for visiting. Definitely will return. Thank you

The Leonardo Boutique Huntingtower hotel is, unfortunately, far from boutique. The reception is ok, friendly staff, the dining room and stairway is impressive in olde-world Scottish baronial style timber and the cooked breakfast is pretty good, the continental breakfast was ok. Those are the pros, which are unfortunately outweighed by the cons which is the room, which lets the whole image down sadly. The room is very basic, but I had booked a standard room so a level of basicness could be expected. However, the room was poorly maintained, damp in the window seals and sills, grouting and bathroom blind was mouldy, grouting in floor tiles missing. Unfortunately, not recommended overall. This place needs investment.

We use this hotel quite regularly. Good location, nice staff and food generally fine although the juices at breakfast were awful. Rooms could do with updating, but comfy enough. However, bathrooms seriously need improvement.

Breakfast was a little dry, the tables were sticky. why cant tables be wiped with warm soapy water and a cloth. over spraying the chemicas just makes them sticky. The food was slightly not as fresh and toast just partly toasted. Bed and pillows verty Hard and my son on the sofa bed could only feel the springs. there was no shower gel in the bottles and had to go to the night porter to see if he can fill the bottle. a room of three and yet therr was only 2 cups.

Food was awful, we attended a celebration and the function room was very cold throughout the evening, making it quite uncomfortable, the dining room was also very cold, I had to put on an outdoor jacket to eat breakfast. There were 2 dogs in the Diningroom when we were eating breakfast, we found this to be unacceptable whilst we were eating. Overall we were disappointed in the hotel.

Breakfast hot and fresh. Could be more accessible for Perth if there was transport - if you don't have your own car it is difficult to get into Perth to shop. Really enjoyed the experience and the staff are really great.
